Pharmacy Practice Lab Practical Exam // Nervous

I am actually feeling lazy to update right now, but knowing that my future self will appreciate if I write this. So, here I am properly writing from my laptop using my on data for internet (thanks, UIA).

Yesterday, was the day for Practical Exam for the subject Pharmacy Practice (where we do compounding and dispensing medicine), It was suppose to be 2 weeks ago, but got postponed.

I was so nervous, and this is practically the exam that I'll pray will ease the most cause I'll worried I will get criticised for my health condition. Huhu.

Still, it went so smooth, and I really felt Allah helped my through the way. I'm so relieved now. Like the I got a really kind examiner, and he didn't check me when I was compounding (I got emulsion btw), so I can calmly do my compounding. And the product turn out well, (or I hope so).

I did all my calculation writing prior to start compounding, so I start a little late than the others, so I when I start searching for the apparatus like none was dried and properly cleaned to be used. Still, redah je la. And I couldn't find one substance that happen to be further back side of the lab, where during our previous lab experiments never once did a substance is there. I was like going in circles around the same place trying to find it. Luckily, one lecturer ask me what was I doing, and showed me where the thing is.

There was this one guy, when I finished collecting my things to do compunding, he was still practically doing his writing. Funny enough, I met him at the place I came back for my substance. I didn't realise he was actually struggling to do his compounding, when I saw three failed products on his desk. I was kinda sorry and worried about him (he eventually becom the last guy that went out from the lab), as he helped me get a new dropper to collect the substance. I wanted to help him like give him a clue on the correct way to do the compounding, as it he is doing the same as mine. But, it is an exam, so we aren't allowed to talk and his station was like near the examiners place. So I just prayed he was okay.

So my tips for this exam:
1. Study group before the night of exam to know the best and correct method to compound.
2. Self-study by writing back the the best lab report by friends.
3. Study all related slides including calculation although it didn't came up during the before lab, it is possible it came up during the practical exam.
4 Memorise terms and the key points of the respective method.
5. Double check the calculation before starting the experiment, so that you would not end up doing the compounding twice.

And I have a new hobby now, which is listening to ballad songs (mostly OSTs and sad songs), that left me just menerawang on thin air, and not thinking anything. Which is bad when I suppose to be studying as I will be blank. But it stills relaxes me, now that somehow I'm feeling chills behind my back, and a thump of my heart which is weird...

I think I might go on a walk while listening this to my current favourite OSTs which is Stay with Me & Beautiful (Goblin OSTs). Even the instrumentals are so good. The drama is also good, and one of the best and catching I watch so far. I managed to unattach myself from watching. So I would not recomend anyone watching during busy times as they most probably will get attach to the drama. So, don't. Take my words.

Til next time,
The Girl in A Hood.

Personality test results from taaruf week.

This morning, I woke up (which is bersyukur sangat), without my alarm clock ringing. Because stupid me, forgot to turn off the silent mode. Haha. I had tilawah test this morning, and was the 2nd person voluntarily tested. Which I think the test gone bad, cause my mind was blank which the ustaz ask me the tajwid questions. Huhu.

So after that, I went to the OSC to get some money from the glorious ATM, cause I'm so poor right before. Haha. Had breakfast of beehon goreng there, which truthfully I was hungry on the journey from KOM to OSC, but looking at the food there, is the whole I-don't-feel-like-eating-syndrome which I experience for the whole week. It was as I only eat because I had to, not because I want to. Aftr eating, which is about 10 minutes to 9, I went to to Counselling & Career Department there (unplanned) and got my personality & career test results from the taaruf week. During the taaruf week, there is this one session with them, and all new students have to take this test. In my mind, caringnya UIA. But reality I think they have to do a stats and it was a common standard procedureor something.

I'm know at the library again (which I promise myself to come here for the whole week #suchaloser), and here is my test results.

BIG FIVE PERSONALITY

Extroversion: 65%
Extrovert=Sociable+Outgoing, right? The counselor said it is good but in the end she somehow says I can have tendency to be introvert too. For me, it really depends on the situation. Like nowadays, I don't mind bringing me myself to one place alone. But I still hate the fact that being alone, can also feel lonely when seeing every people I know with their own friends. So here comes my extrovert side eh? (Do I look that badass, sampai jarang orang nak tegur ke friendly sangat sampai orang memang ingat mesti kita yang tegur dulu? Haha.)

Conscientioness: 64.4%
Concerns the way in which we control, direct our impulse. So here it says I'm achievememt-oriented (mestilah sebab semua nak score), organised (sangat), reliable (kinda?), hard-working(persistent I think is more accurate) and self-disciplined (failed this one, no wonder 64.4% je).

Openness: 64%
I think myself very open actually, to ideas and emotions. I always thought I have much empathy that I can always feel and imagine myself being in someone's place when they confess to me. But no too open in things opposing religion. I still have my grounds.

Agreeableness: 82%
So the counselor kinda point out that this is my strongest personality. So if you say anything, I would most probably say yes? Haha. Yes, honestly I say yes all the time. Cause I appreciate people talking to me just to ask help or ask me to go out with them. Soft-hearted (yes), trusting (not sure, but the counselor says I am much of a trustworthy person. So you can trust on me, guys! Haha.), forgiving (yes, like we all are human), caring (yes, I tend to care more than people think I do, and I also care much with people I don't seem to be close with), and gentle (in context of handling things, nope. I'm clumsy, and not good with taking care of my own things.)

Neuroticism: 62.5%
Tendency to experience negative feeling. Oh God. Worrisome (yes, in a way I tend to worry aboput people around me), nervous (exams, and presentation), insecure (everyone does), frequent distress (depends), and excitable (not sure what it means by this though).

CAREER INTEREST-RIASEC

In order,
1. Social
I can't help in I love being with people, in a way that I'm helping them.
2. Investigative
Requires intensive amount of thinking, searching for facts, figuring problems. Well, yes!
3. Enterprising
Well, my business side.
4. Conventional
Following set of procedure and routine. Maybe? But not too much and too long. There must still be a diversity there.
5. Artistic
Well, crappy hands.
6. Realistic
Practical hands-on problem. Often deal with plants, animals, and machinery. Well, I hated Kemahiran Hidup cause I don't have much talent dealing with machines. No machines for me please!

CAREER ASPIRATION
37/50=High
Possess clear career direction and goals. Fully understands their strengths & weakness and compatiblity with existing career. Truthfully, true. Most of the time, I know what I can do and in passion of what I want.

Pause
Leha, tiba2 datang kacau. Aww, rindu dia.

CAREER DECISION MAKING SELF EFFICACY
71.2%=High
Has high confidence in career decision making. May give high commitment related to career attainment and development. Well, I pretty much intrested with what I'm doing. Do, yeah.

So sape lagi tak pergi, bole la pergi. Baik orang2 sana. :)

I'm suppose to be studying for finals, Bak kata Leha.

Dear brothers. Dear sisters.

Okay, third update of the day.

And most heart breaking one.

Aleppo, Syria. Maybe once been a beautiful city (I need to study history on this).
Become rubbles.
And what the media has reported, who knows if much more worse is unreported are done.
I cry, I worry.

I sometimes wonder what happened to society nowadays, is there no strength in humanity to revive someone of our own kind. Or are we just too busy with our own life to care for others?
Imagine if this happens to our family, or even ourselves? By then, it must be too late to realize his selfish we were.

Them. At the heart, must be thinking. Where is the world, are the humans?

Me. Here. I felt like I just wanna run bare foot from this UIA land, to them to kiss their checks, and hugging them tightly while whispering to their ears "Don't worry. I'm here for you. I'm gonna chase these bad guys away. Don't worry.".

But in reality, I can't. Still not the reason I can't help. I can donate. The more the money I have, the more money, they deserve to have. I become a participate in awareness campaign. So that so many more can help.

Still, in may be not much. But still, Allah is there for you. And justice will prevail soon.

My dear brothers. My dear sisters.
Sad,
The Girl in A Hood

Not ready yet.

Some of you may be guessing that I'm gonna write about my finals by looking at the title. But na-uh. You are wrong. (Like literally does anyone reads my blog besides me? Haha.)

Rewinding back a few days ago...
My father sent pictures of my cousins new born child to my family WhatsApp group.
I was like "Comelnya.." With flying kiss emoji and so on.
Then!!
My dad: "Teringin pulak ada cucu sendiri.. Hihi. *smiley face*"
Me, in the middle of the night, baru buka WhatsApp: Nononononono!! Nightmare.
Then, at 2 a.m.
My mom: "Comel sangat. Akak Abah nak cucu sendiri he he he"
Me, was like asdfvghbjj. I'm not gonna sleep tonight. Like I literally blue tick their message. And not reply. (Cause I don't know what to).

Like the whole situation is asdghnklhv. (I'm not swearing btw, I just do not how to express it.)
Like of course, what I'm suppose to reply when someone sends a baby pic? Hodohnya. Am I supposed to react like that? It doesn't mean that I commenting "how cute" means I wanna have a baby soon. Like I know, my parents are almost 50. And I know, I'm the first child. And I know, both of my parents are the youngest of both siblings. The situation doesn't help much. And I so how know, my father is kidding with me. (And the fact, my mom too. And the creepy smiley face too.) Although they "saje-mengusik", it doesn't help that in reality they do give a green light, if I wanna get married. Like this instance.

IT.IS.SCARY.

Like I'm barely 20 years old (still 19, in fact. Official on 24th of this December). I'm not ready. And what makes me so asdghnklhv is that...

A few days before this conversation...
Late at night, hanging and talking with my roommates.
After the lepak... In my mind, flashes back what my roommate just said "We are 20, and we need to start to think about our jodoh." Like, rupa-rupanya quite a number of my batch already 'have' their other half. Even not official. I was like "I dah tua" and "I'm gonna be a loner". Repeating in my mind 20 times.

And the funny thing is in someway I still have a mindset of a school kid that just thinks about excel in  studying for God's Sake!! Haha. It's not bad. But... Okay, it is bad. I'm not a school kid anymore.

But thinking of jodoh for me is like this. If you like me, just ask me and if you are a good guy, I will most probably say yes. Cause I will most probably like the person that likes me (kes tak pernah kena confess). But, but, but if you agree to respect my parents and ask them first. (And also get married right away. Like if you both like each other. Why not? But still, during my studies... I just wanna try out living out as a couple but not official living in one house, but still in the status of marriage). But thinking back.. I'm not ready to be a good or at least a decent wife. And what more of a mother. *cries* *laughing*

In the end...
Me, next morning : Kata kat bdk baru habis bljr tu. (Refering tu my adik utk kahwin dulu.)
My dad: Haha...

But seriously, if you don't want me to go on a panic attack. Don't kid me like this.

I'm being ridiculous, I know,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S No 1: Pray, I'm not single sampai ke tua.
P/S No 2: I think my page view just broke. It says there are 53 views today. Which in my mind... Who in the hell, reads my blog besides me?

1st Year 1st Semester's Study Week

Final is coming, OMG. How time flies.
And how much I been missing writing my blog (I planning to update tomorrow, but...). Haha.
Like literally I have so much to blog about. And maybe I will do a double update. *maybe*

Truthfully, I am bored of watching dramas, kpop and so on. So good thing for me as I'm supposed to be studying, which I did. #halfofthetime As I still watch anyways, as I don't know what to do during the in between study breaks. #ihavenolife

I am so nervous for the final. As looking at my not-so-bangga carry marks, I know I have to study hard. And.. Have more of pixies dust to score. My friends say I'm lucky for UNGS result as it was okay. Like I didn't expect I scored above average. (Keep it a secret please!). And so surprised that many claimed that none scored a perfect 4 flat for the UNGS. (I think there is a silent scorer in our batch). But looking at the quizzes results this semester, I was like.. Okay, I did so-so, just like last semester. And how come these kids are so good? Like are you guys born genius? #nampaksangatmarkahquiztuteruk

But, well there's still hope.

Actually, I wanna update about this. (Although a little childish. -.-)
My highlighters smells so gooood!! Like I literally just realize around 7.10 p.m ago that the recent brand new highlighters I bought from from FZ kiosk have their own fragrance. Like all the past few days, I was thinking why I smell something sweet, every time I study. When, I just thought of smelling the highlighters. Like the pink one smells strawberry-raspberry-soap, in between there (it makes me head aches when I tried to smell, and figure it out again). While the blue one, I still can't figure it out, but still smells nice.  But oooh.. My favorite one is the yellow one. Evonthough, yellow highlighter is the least favorite color I like to use. But the smell. It smells like banana chewing gum, guys!! It's smells sweet, yummy, and remind me of kids (I know, I'm weird). Haha.

Okay, tu je nak update snanya.

It is a blessing.

I'm here now in Lecture Hall 3, KOP, supposingly paying attention to this JATI's talk. Which is interesting for the future career prospect, but after accidentally Instagram-walking, to finding out a friend's blog, and suddenly came by my own (see the ridiculous relation). Haha.

I know I don't make most sense when writing (padah otak lagi laju dari jari), but writing blog is always enjoyable (even though, I didn't make up for most of my promises). But still I'm here.

This week been... A roller coaster ride to eternal sickness..

Okay, I'm was totally exaggerating there. Haha. But my health seriously main acah-acah compared to last week.

The moments:

"Oh my head, I need to sleep" #sleeps
"I think I'm having a fever" #holdshead #thensleep
"My nose is gonna break from all this transparent-not-so-hingus coming up from my nose" #ihadworsertimes #bynowhidungdahmengelupas
"Okay, I'm gonna sneeze." #turnheadstheotherway #somyfrienddoesnotgetinfected  "Nevermind, false alarm. " #turningbacktofacethem "Ahhhh-choo" #seriously?
"Uhuk-uhuk" #itwasallthetime2daysback #makesureeverywheregetsinfected #goodjob #maybeicanbethenextactorforHurexCapLimau #flipstudungwhilecoughingwithstyle

#hashtagaddict #kesianyangmembaca #notsokesian

And these are just some of it. So most of my weeks been sleeping, and being the non-compliant patient, refusing to take medication (way to go, future pharmacist), and lots of quizzes this week and the next. Not to mention, OSPE and 2 lab report next week. Still, for now, I feel well again. #tunggujelaesokkauu #sincerelyvirusandbacteria

Still, I'm really grateful for this week. And still hoping for the best. Someone else got worse. Like today, one of a known senior, had bacteria infection, which I just knew. The problem was the doctors didn't know either it was virus or bacteria at first. When it started, the doctors think it was virus infection as the demam kebah tak kebah (seriously reminds about me). Then, after administering antivirus medication, she got nanah around her cheeks. Then, the doctors change to Amoxicillin, where she said like she felt like electric current running around her limbs. And then, they change to new antibiotic, I presume. But, seriously after hearing this I felt really relieve that I didn't got sick like her, which might be difficult for her (May Allah give the best for her). (Btw, she happened to got this maybe due to her research on bacteria isolation from swamp. So there is no possible way to know maybe the bacteria is pathogenic. And the sad thing is they cannot know which bacteria infect her. Huhu.)

Okay, so what is this talk about?

A day of a run-away

I'm here. Again on the bus riding to the garden of virtue.

This past week has been stressful to be honest, with my results plunging, insufficient time to do things, and my health being main-main acah.

So I decided I need a short gateway from all this.

I went home.

Being home, with an I-didn't-start-yet-study-and-assignment wasn't so much of a run-away.
But being home, made me realize I have so much other responsibility other than studies. I need to protect the close bonding with my family. And my adiks still need help in a way they realize or not.

My feelings was pulled up to the point that I cried yesterday.
And mainly I cried cause studies cause I couldn't understand a thing I am suppose to study. It was like the feeling of having an unsolved jigsaw puzzle of billions pieces, and I just solved only a portion of it. And that also means I do not  know yet what the whole picture of the puzzle is about, and knowing I may not have time to finish it.

But, the embarrassing thing is I cried in front of my parents. Being the fragile me, my tears trickled down while my back of my head lies on my father's lap. Thinking about it again, flashes back me being as a child. Oh gosh, how much I think I have grown up, still in reality I am a child. Haha.

A day of a run-away

Friday
7.30 p.m Arrive home with hugs.
8.00 p.m With a grumbling I-only-ate-breakfast stomach, made me search for food, only to know dinner isn't ready yet.
8.30 p.m Chatting with my introvert brother H, while helping him do his personality test.
9.30 p.m Ate dinner in front of the TV, watching Numbers with my adiks.
10.30 p.m My little sister S, arrive home with my father. With burgers. Tapi perut dah kenyang.

Saturday
7.30 a.m Breakfast at mamak with my fathers best friend (our whole family).
9.00 a.m Shower. Haha. And study with break here and there.
12.30 p.m Business management.
1.30 p.m Study.
2.30 p.m Lunch of masak lemak ketam, while having a chat with all.
3.30 p.m Study. I just had to finish that topic. >< (I was suppose to do my assignment by this time).
4.00 p.m Hanging out with my parents and adiks. (The crying incident.)
5.30 p.m Bowling. I lost. TT.TT
9.30 p.m Home having dinner of sup ketam.
10.30 p.m Business management with the help of my two youngest adiks, while me trying to start off my assignment that's due on Monday.

Sunday
6.30 a.m Family subuh berjemaah.
7.00 a.m Had to finish L's unfinished work yesterday. (I didn't plan this)
8.15 a.m Eating pau and honey as breakfast with my father. And rushed to the bus terminal.
8.35 a.m The bus still there. Phew.
9.20 a.m Writing this, with the usual travel sickness. I hope I can do the assignment without me vomiting on this bus.

So that the timeline the run-away. Hashtag. On my iPhone.

Feeling a little better.

Munch munch

It's been 3 weeks since our mid sem break. And I could feel the finals are nearing. Huwaa.

I'm at the library now, basically sneaking and munching free kerepok lekor I got from KOM's cafe. Yum2. *don't do this*

We had the morning session final lab for our PharmPract, and I must say is the most disoriented somehow, as they were too many prompt changes during the lab practices and also the easiest. Haha. Still, no PharmPract lab is easy. Basically at least 5 hours of research and pre-studies before going into that lab.

One thing, I always get frustrated in this lab is that it is like getting the recipe but with the list of ingredients but no steps to the cooking. Get it? I couldn't figure out other way to explain it. Still, I miss making emulsion and ointment for our lab. :(

Yesterday, was half-day class too. And I went here to do the research basically looking into the British Pharmacopoeia and searching for the non-existing United State Pharmacopoeia had already consume 2 hours of my precious time. No kidding. So I couldn't update my blog yesterday.

And hey, I bought a new basketball so I could play (eventhough my shooting skills are downgrading now. Like seriously.) And my one-week old sport shoes that I bought from ECM has already started to worn out. Like huhu. TT.TT

Next update, on EGM, IBG and MMD. I wish. Haha.

Oh and pray for my luck for tomorrow's *killing* PharmPract quiz.

Totally random,

Sit up straight

I had wanted to update my blog, since yesterday I found an interesting topic, but since I'm too occupied studying for my Physiology Quiz yesterday, I couldn't find the time. And since I found another topic I wanted to share, so maybe I will left my other topic to be forgotten.

Before, I start, how was my quiz today?
Answer: I so-so regret it. Nah. It was quite okay. #denial

Today's classes ended early at 3 (3.10 p.m to be exact), and the last class is tutorial class with Dr Kauthar. She taught us on Diffusion & Complexity (or is it Complexation, I forgot). Well, the 2nd topic I didn't get to study yet (yet how come I could have the time to update my blog? Priorities, dear). #tomorrowisthequiz #shortanswersthroughandthrough

In between teaching us on the parts we asked questions, she also gives us a 'Tazkirah Khamis' (the term came up by her). I have to say it is a good one, and I wanna re translate it down so I could always read it over and over. It would be a good reminder for you too perhaps.

What she said was (lebih kurang la):

When we feel sleepy, we should take coffee, ribena, milo & so on.
When we feel tired, we have to make us untired again.
When we are so busy, and not enough time, make time.
We should do our best.
Come to class, sit straight, don't slouch, look straight at the lecturer, write rigorously using the pen, and don't fall asleep.
Yes, we are sleepy.
Yes, we are tired.
Yes, we are busy.
But is it the reason to not do our best?
The answer is no.
I never hope you guys get all 80-90s marks, or all As. What I expect you to do is your best.
And as long as we are living in this world, and not here after, we should do our best.
God didn't said te world is easy. But did He said we couldn't make it easy?
No. Therefore, put effort in everything and do our best.
As long as we're living in this world.

On my way back

Writing this means I just started my journey back to UIA.
Writing also means that I promised myself I will write during my midsem break, but at home, so this is a rather broken promise.

This is first time updating my blog through my phone and it feels a little awkward. The 'touch' is not there, do you get what I mean? Guess I missed the clicking sounds of the keyboard unlike this the virtual one. Haha.

I still suck at time management that I didn't manage to do a lot of studying for my quiz next week (there's 3 quizzes coming up). #ohmyhead

Time flies so fast that I actually knew before hand that 1 week of midsem break is not enough for me. (I literally studied in the car during ride to go to banks & stuff just to make sure I did a little studying at least.)

And unexpectedly this week sale's rocketed much than I expected that I couldn't handle much myself as I used to do. Alhamdulillah, all my family members help a little bit here and there. (I literally freaked out like crying in stress this morning for the 2nd time in my life knowing I'm not gonna make it if I do alone.) And it's the first time I discovered that I could be rather short tempered during critical time of stress. Luckily my faithful youngest brother help so much this morning, that I wanted to squeeze him to death cause I'm so thankful. Others help me too, so thank you.

Writing this already makes me felt kinda lonely & missing home already. No one is like our family, right? #lovingthemsomuch #grateful

It's only been 30 minutes,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S: Blogger in Google Chrome is so not friendly. I couldn't left sided & italic my writer's name. Hope they come up with a mobile version.

Life update.

I have been living well. Alhamdulillah. So...

How is pharmacy?
The best!

Is it true pharmacy degree is the busiest?
Probably yes. Not this year though. But it will get busier every year. Trust me.

Is it tough?
I wouldn't say so. First semester are half recaps of foundation + half new things.

Why I'm not updating?
Me myself is busy. Society, sports, business, basically managing time.

How come I can update now?
Cause tomorrow is mid semester break!

Am I going to be busy for the break?
Yes.

After mid sem?
3 quizzes.

Where I am now?
Library.

Anything interesting happening in IIUM Kuantan?
Nescafe hub! (Today's the last day.)

Have I been missing writing?
Are you kidding?

How is business?
Guess who turns two years old yesterday.

What I am doing here?
Studying I suppose.
The Girl in A Hood

We made our very first drug//First Pharmacy Practice Lab

So we had our very first Pharmacy Practice practical. And...

We made our very first drug (aka medicine)! How was it?

One word.

CHAOS!

Literally. Haha.

But fun.

Before the lab, we were given the lab manual, 13 pages, which contain some questions, and inquiries. But no instructions.

Example : Patient XX needs XX g of drug XX for XX disease tds 6/7. You as a pharmacist need to prepare this drug.

So we are needed to figure:
1. How to make the drug.
2. The exact amount needed.
3. How to label the drug.

And not to mention, make a report out of it. Which we only known we need to write the procedure the day before.

For me, I studied the previous lecture notes and just finish the day before, but didn't manage to the lab report the day before.

Oh and if you are wondering, the report needed to be submitted right after we finish the drug / before class ended. No joke. Some unlucky ones got mark deductions for submitting a few minutes late.

So we needed to finish the report before the lab, if not. No time mate! The lecturers are not going to help. So figure out yourself.

How? (According to before.)
1. Search and understand all recipes (and variations). The lecturers will expect you to know more.
2. Calculation. Important! Wrong calculation, you're busted!
3. Again, search and search. Labeling is the hardest part. It took us all an hour for us to label 3 medication, and still didn't get entirely correct.

During the lab, we were given our own cubicle to get our medicine done. (Yes, you are alone in this game. But not quite.) After briefing (if not mistaken about 1/2 hour, due to too many questions), then we know which medicine needed to be prepared out of all that was asked in the lab manual.  After that, we are divided to two groups to do the experiment (due to lack of apparatus). And then, cop-cop, off we go. Everyone, was so anxious and nervous (literally everyone's hands were shaking during weighing the mass). And so busy, (you can practically see some running from one place to another).

Despite all this, the funny thing is we literally prepared 'air garam' and 'air gula'.

Future chefs,
Rx 15.

It's been a while since...

Okay, so it's been 1 week and more before my previous post (I have one post save in my laptop, but currently I'm writing this using the library's computer. So well...).

I'm in the library right now, having break until 3.30 p.m, before having lab (practical classes). So far for the labs, every subject this semester have their own practical, and for the practical we are generally divided into 2 groups, as we are roughly 120 in number, so each lab consist of 60 students.

For the BMS (Bio Medical Science) lab like anatomy we are divided to two half, the total hours for each lab is 3 hours, generally 2-5 p.m, and for the first half the first group will go, and the 2nd half, the 2nd group will go (like me), and then we interchange each other time. So for the next lab session, my group will go first.

For the Physiology & Physical Pharmacy lab, we had full 3 hours cause the experiment is quite long, and besides the BMS lab is just us looking at the specimens through microscope (in pairs). Microscopic skills are important, I guess. And I think I started to get the hang of it since my last BMS lab. For the practicals, that we need to do experiments. We are further divided to groups of 6 from the 60 people, and each group will have both genders. Since our 'kaum adam' is lacking in number, most group had 1 brother only. And some had 2. So brothers, pandai-pandai la survive. Haha.

Okay, dah melalut jauh pasal lab. Back to the title. It's been a while since...

I played ball. Which I just realize yesterday, it's been almost 5-6 years since I played. I enjoy sports, but frankly I'm not the sporty type. And also, if I do commit (like really wanna join a tornoment), my health condition will limit me (is not that I can't play, it's the fact that how much I try, I know that I can't be good as others.) Anyway, I'm still grateful. At least, I can play, But not excel as others. :)

And it's the first time, I play basketball, being the first timer, and 'sbb-dah-lama-pancit', I was not very good, but at least I shoot the first goal in the first round. So, kuddos! Hehe. I'm eager to play sports more (besides ice-skating & bowling with my family), and now I have a friend (which plays really good, I think she is one of the excel one in sports for our batch, Rx15 pharmacy) that will ajak my everyday kot. Thanks friend. <3 Haha. I'm grateful, cause I do enjoy sports, even I'm not good. Haha.

Do you think I could?

P/S : This week, we are suppose to have our first two quizzes. But one is postponed to later (which I don't know need to be thankful or not, hopefully it's not a busy week for the postponed quiz), so pray for me (the quiz is on Friday.)

P/S : This week my juniors (2nd year CFS students, which I know them during CFS) will be having their interview, so good luck! (And yes, I just realized that I haven't yet finished my interview posts. Huhu. Sorry ;( )

2nd Day. DONE!

Okay, as usual I have loads to update. But still. Huhu, time-constrict as always.

I just come back for my class, which started at 9, and we had a break from 12.30-3, (only for today).

Today, is my 2nd official day of class for my first semester. And it was great. We learn about anatomy, histology, practical pharmacy, physiology.

So far so good. And the lecturers are all good teachers, which I understand throughout the leatures. Alhamdulilah. (Hope it stays like this until the end of my study.)

A little bit info if you guys are wondering about Pharmacy degree in IIUM here, is that:
- our timetable changes everyweek
- the lecturers that will be teaching us, are different according to the topic of subject
- for every subject we have only 1 hour lecture/subject

This only applies, for Pharmacy degree in IIUM, different courses such as in Allied Health Science has 2 hours lectures, and some have fix timetable and so on.

For the 1st we day, we had tilawah placement test, which we shouldn't took due to some miscommunication. And briefing on the laboratory practice & safety, which is very-very important. And the labs look so interesting for us to do experiments there, so I'm looking forward to that.

Going on to writing another post,

Tawe // Taa'ruf Week 15/16 in IIUM Kuantan.

I'm finally here, guys!! An official degree student here at IIUM, Alhamdulillah. :)

So how was Taa'ruf Week?

First thing first, I arrived a little late for the taa'ruf week. At around 1.30, (the slots starts at 2) but still managed to place my belongings at my room, as I borrowed my roommate's key. (I didn't get the key yet.)

Althought the late registration, we were handled well by the taa'ruf commitees. We got the taa'ruf kit and so on.

The first was not much, was the basics.

2nd day - subuh at mosque, community service, (Pharmacy's students went to Pantai *i forgot the name*, but still we went out, while some others stayed at UIA. The night, we were to discuss for our cultural night performance.

3rd day - qiam at MAC 1 (for sisters), and the whole day was full of briefings regarding what we need to know, but for the night we had our cultural night, Which was supperb. <3 KOS, won 1st & 3rd, while KOM won 2nd. Pharmacy or Pharmalicious (the name for our team), didn't won, but still we received gifts (which I just thought about, that sisters, didn't get any. Haha.) & a blast time, for sure.

4th day - the baiah day. Basically we had rehearsal for the afternoon baiah session. It's kinda like a tradition of pledging oath ceremony, which I could say is very ceremoni-ous (is that a word?) and formal. As all the important people were there.

Taa'ruf week ends at Friday, 2 Sept 2016 around 5 p.m, and ended by a performance & videos by the taaruf commitees. Overall, they did a very good job manging us and the week, so kudos to them. ;)

Oh n something, you need to know, all sessions ain taa'ruf week are strictly compulsory, if you are found to not attend any session, you will; have to repeat the taa'ruf week next year with your juniors, if not, you can not graduate.

And, actually I write this after the 2nd Day's post. Irony. Haha.
Pergi solat!
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : Moo, quack, sss. And katak kembung kempis. This I will remember til the end. You know what I mean if you join the taa'ruf week. Haha.

Accomplishments.

So apparently, I noticed I accomplished a few things since my fiirst CFS days. Of which I'm a little proud of myself.

- I've managed to get a good academic result despite my busy schedules. Even not good than others, at least I topped 16/60 of the 2-years cfs pharmacy graduates of dean's list.

- I've blessed with a 4 flat for my cfs co-curriculum results, despite making a person annoyed to get that.

- I noticed I can become a decent leader, despite the fear I hold.

- My Instagram business followers each 10k, despite I only have 150 somtin followers for my own account (that's a big difference. Haha.).

- My business is running well, and I receiving much regular orders (which I noticed), despites maybe not excels as others.

- And I have more early-wake-up since my school times.

I maybe not as not accomplished as others, I'm really really grateful for what Allah has given me.

Thank you, Allah
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : And 1 more thing, I managed to brave myself to write this posts. As I'm usually the shy type, that don't want others to look up. So please, if you know me. Shhs.

23/8/2016

Dear blog,

So Alhamdulillah today, I woke up a bit early than usual. 8.30 a.m.

Today, I went to go take my transcipt at UIA Petaling Jaya, but before that I packed the usuals for postage. I took some quite time, as I still hadn't finidh with the packaging. (Actually we ran out of labels. TT.TT)

My dad & I went to post at Poslaju Bangi thru Ezi Drive Thru. I just knew about it, & I thought the idea is really convenient. Good job Poslaju. It's was like going to Poslaju to deliver the items except we don't have to park & step out of the car.

After that, we went on with the journey. We had nips and kacang in the car, and I talk all the way to UIA & back. First we went to the Admin to collect our transcript, and then to the Student Development Department (SDD) to collect my co-curriculum results. After recieving the co-curriculum resluts, I was pretty not statisfied as I only got 3.27, but negelected anyway.

Then, we went to the photostat shop to photocopy the certificates all (5 copies), my dad ask too. After that we went to Admin to get it certified, but no one in the higher position were there, so we went to the SDDs. After that, I noticed there were like to many mistakes on my co-curriculum results. Like I was suppose to be the committee but they write as participants and all. Not mentioned a few programmes I once handled was missing. Althought in the end, I didn't get to add the mistakes on the missing programmes (as it was not in their system), I managed to changed my results to 4 flat for my co-curriculum. So Alhamdulillah. :) (But still, rasa berslh kat Madam tu because byk sgt dia kena betlkan. Sampai muka dia nampak annoyed. Huhu.)

After that, we went back and stop by Pizza Hut, my dad's treat, as during my little brother's L birthday, they went there without me, which I didn't know #sanggupdiorangtakpostkatgrouptakutakakjealous I choose the menu and try food that I haven't tried, the pizza & soup, was good but everything else not worth the prize. Sorry Pizza Hut. :(

#mycatjustsneezed #haha After that, instead of going home my father and I decided to drop me off the bank area for me to settle some few things. It went good and the staffs are very kind & friendly. Kudos to BSN's & Bank Rakyat's staff.

After that, we went home, and I help my little brother L with his english. (He need a lot of help. I feel sorry for him. May Allah ease his exams tomorrow. Aamiin.)

Off writing to my 2nd post of the day,

22/8/2016

Dear blog,

Today I woke up late again. Which I'm very disappointed by myself.

So my day started around 12, I ate 'breakfast', manage stocks, and writing out the consignment notes for the orders that will be post.

My father arrive at 1 p.m, when I was piling the stocks I arrange on the carpet.

After zuhr prayer, around 2, I started packing the items and it took much amount of time, than I expected.

My father help with writing the tracking numbers in the tracking number books. And this time, I gave freebies of products to the customers. I was about to Instagram Stories our work, but failed. :( #idon'tknowwhytheappdidn'tworkatthattime

Around 2.30, my mother and other adiks arrived home, I was still busy packing, and a parcel of stocks arrived where I help to get it. #seriouslywealldidn'thearthehorn

After that, my father went out to post (+ a few other things he had to do regarding his business), and I ate lunch that my father cook, and managed to Instagram it. #ithinkitcameupquitegood #thepicture

I had a break after managing stocks + ads arrangment in the evening, and pass out tracking numbers after maghrib. (I help out a bit of my adik's studying, before maghrib.)

At 9, I had dinner, because my mom ask me that I didn't eat yet. I had macaroni, from the freezer who seems that none been eating. While dinner,

Around 10, I wrote down the orders in my order book, which I just changed to a new to a new one, cause the old one has been used up.

After that, I hang out with my father & adiks. Chat about random things and stuff.

So that's all for my day. :)

Please wake up early tomorrow,
The Girl in A Hood

Watch out for the stairs!

Yeay! Alhamdulillah, I'm finally back home, after the final exams. I miss home so much, I've been eager to turn to full business mode this week. :)

Writing this, I'd just finish my work of managing & packaging some restocks, and now sipping my Dutch Lady strawberry milk which I brought back home from UIA. #Iwassupposetohaveitthismorning #Atleastitscoldrightnow

So let's go on, to the story. And listen boys & girls, cause there will be a very important lesson you will learn after this. Haha.

Monday : The day I was writing my previous post in the library.

After I finished studying, and on the way back to my room...

LIFT IN MAINTENANCE *yellowdonotcrosslineseverywhere*

'Okay I always wanted to walk the stairs.' #likeIhaven't #haha

1st step,
2nd step,
well then the 3rd, 4th, 5th & I don't know which steps down from the 1st floor

*sawtherelectioninthenotsoreflectivemirror*

'Oh my tudung is stuck in my beg. Better fix it.'

Which is a good idea, cause then, #mymilkjustfinish #stillbitingonthestrawforlasthope

*steppingovermyjubah* Bam!

"Aduh!" While rubbing my hands to my knee, and looking left and right hoping nobody saw it.  #Iwastooembarrased #luckilynobodyisthere

Trying to step up, 'Ouch!! My ankle hurts. Better check it.' #causeI'llbewalikngtothemahallah

'Okay it's seems fine. And it doesn't hurt that bad.' I said to myself, while I was sitting on the sofa at the Ground Floor.

Walking back to the Mahallah, Alhamdulillah it didn't hurt.

But then,

according to my schedule, I have to go to work at a Printing Shop at UIA at 6 p.m, so then I was stepping out of my room, the fire alarm rang.

'Damn it.'

Cause I know I will be walking down the stairs from the 9th level to the bottom, to arrive waork on time. #ivechecked #liftnotworking

I didn't hurt. Alhamdulillah.

But during my break where I go back for maghrib prayer in my room,

*walkingtomyroom* *terpeliottiba-tiba*

Okay, it hurts.

Then, continue to walk like nothing had happened to my room.

Did it stop there?

The answer is : No.

Friday : The last day of my exams

I tripped (well, falling too to be exact), as i skip a stair, while I was walking for the examination hall for my exams.

And what was I doing?

Searching for my things in my bag, while walking down the stairs.

While, it seem to be recovering, I gave the poison more.

Lesson learnt : Walk the stairs safely. Look straight ahead. Don't be distracted. You never know what it might do to you. #maybethereshouldberulestooforwalkingonstairs #notjustdrivingrules

Feeling ridiculous,
The Girl in The Hood

Italic : Head voice

P/S: I ate butter rice again. The rice was better than the first, but the sauce still meh. #istillloveyoukakakcafe #iamstillyourloyalcustomer #causeihavenowhereelsetoeat
The pasta and nasi arab are still lovely though, so anyone that came to FZ's cafe, do buy their pasta. :)

Empat Flat?

Well, first of all before going on to the topic, I saw that the overall view of my blog increase from 500-595 view in less than a week. I know most probably the views came from me but impossible that all 95 view comes from me. Crazy. I guess someone really does stalk me. Haha. #impressed

So here I am, at the library again. Just finish my UNGS 2050's final. How was the final? Ermm, to be honest okay la. Alhamdulillah. :) Despite of the time of my study and how I answer.

For this test, I practically study 2 days (please don't do this, if ypu have time), starting Saturday afternoon (if you read my previous post).  And I slept only for 2-3 hours yesterday as I could't sleep. I've been rustling the bed sheets since 10 p.m yesterday.
Nervous? No... Anxious? Noo... Well, kinda. But what really happen is that I overslept during the day (almost 5 hours, including morning + afternoon 'nap'). Haha.

So the story is this, as usual before mostly all of the test, I will tell my family (in case they forget), to pray for me (seriously I think this is the key, of my success, the blissful prayer of my parents). At maghrib if not mistaken. And as I had a few more to study + wanna sleep 'early', I neglected to call my parents as usual (just the WhatsApp), I thought that probably next morning I will surely call them.

'Esok ana final doakan ye'

'Ibu doakan. Akak bykkn solat hajat.'

'Semoga kak berjaya dgn cemerlang hendaknya'

'Doakan ye. Nak dptkan 4 flat utk Abah Ibu *flying kiss emoji* #icriedalittleinmyheart #howipraytogivethemthebestresultthaticouldgave

Then...

11.24 p.m.

'Tudutuutudu' #perhapsthisisthesound #idontrembermyiphone'sringtone

As I was like nearly a quarter of slumber (maybe 10%, to be accurate), I answer the call, which my father called me. Still my voice was already in sleep mode, my father knew that I was intended to sleep. He called saying my youngest adik L misses me, and wanted to say something.

And he said...

'Akak.. L doakan akak dapat empat flat utk pekse'

I was like...

'Haha. Thank you L. Tapi mana ada org panggil empat flat' #ijoke4flats(building)inmyhead

'L ingat akak lupa ke birthday L Rabu? Akak tak lupa la'

So here's the lame joke and story. Haha.

Other events:
My old deskmate at school contacted my thru FaceBook how I miss her. I joke about not recognising her. She believed it. LOL. How could I forget a friend? And like we'd been deskmate for almost 2 years okay? Of course, I miss you. #whosaysyoucouldchangeyournumber

I ate Nasi Butter for the first time in my life. Is it me.. Of was it not tasteful as I imagine. Huhu. #foodfreak #yesIliketosavour #stickingtonasiarabnexttime

I'd been buying roti telur cheese + sosej for 3 consecutive days for latye noght snacks. #pleasedon'tthelatenighteatinghabitstartagain #mywalletbarelysurvive

2 more to go, *gulps*

They gave us no study weeks for the short semester. And my class just ended 7 p.m yesterday + meeting for SPR ( I will tell more later).

Well,.. for this semester we weren't that busy. I couldn't imagine how life in the real degree is. For those how haven't experience University Life, Good Luck! :) (Maybe I should had save this part for another post).

So I'm currently at the library now. (I'm actually here, because I left my pendrive. TT.TT)

So tip top. Off to studying.

Fighting!!!

Pray for me, guys. :)

I made a dish!

Haaa. The title said it all.

It's been a few days since holiday started, and I'm putting on my LAZY GILER mode on. Haha.

So I cooked today, ayam masak paprik. Saje...

My mom suruh jadi ni tu ni tu. Oh boy, I'm gonna be so busy this holiday.

And for the ayam, my dad gave me an instant perencah, yg tak perlu tumis ke ape, thanks Abah! (but seriously kills my cooking mode.... Baru nak tunjuk skill. Huwek.)

And then, tadi just now my mom ask who cooked, I said it was me..

And...

she asked "Did you fried the chicken?"

"Nope. Rebus je. "

Haha. Feeling guilty, I said "Lesss oil maaa~~"

Typical lazy.

My interview experience. Part 2.

I was thinking I better write it fast before I start to forget.

So here it is :

On that day, after the briefing session, I went back to my room as my interview session was schedule for the afternoon.

So about 9 until 11, I decided to sleep as the night before, I slept late. Not knowing this, nearly made me got trouble. So after I woke up at 11, I started to get ready and ironed my clothes once again so that I got the extra edgey neat look, I thought of going there at 12, eventhough the afternoon session starts at 2, and I was the last person, so I estimated maybe around 4, I will get interviewed, Better early than punctual.

So that's what I thought.

Just when I was ironing my clothes, my roommate A told me that she recieved a WhatsApp saying that all afternoon session have to be there at 11 precise.

Damn it! My head screamed.

So I hurried to call my friend who was scheduled the same group and session with me.

She didn't answer.

I was quite scared, worried that it will affect my interview results if I'm late.

Luckily, she called me back and I asked her she said there were no attendance yet taken, and they were morning session hasn't done yet, so no worries.

Alhamdulillah.

Lesson learnt : Never sleep on the day of your interview. You never know when bad luck wanna past by.

Part 3?
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : In the end, our session did start on 2, and we even manage to eat and solah during the time being.

So proud. :)

My adik, H is on the newspaper guys!!

Omo. I'm so proud.

Like 3/4 of the page is about him.

And his face is all over it.

He got into news for being a young writer who have fans all over the world. (#soproud #unlikeme #seriouslydoesanyonereadmywritings? #younowknowwheremywritingtalentwalkoff #justkidding)
(I'm gonna give pictures and links soon.)

It like Wednesday ago. I was so eager on writing that very day, but I couldn't since FRC organized a taalim which is Daebak!

The support was tremendous until we need to fetch several more chairs as there were not enough room to sit. Well.. The speaker is a famous person (Shukery somtin2, penulis tarbiyah sentap.)

His talk.. Is kinda catchy for adolescence like us, he made a lot of jokes but still the knowledge still be presented.

The talk was about Love. Aha, you're right, so that's why we got a lot of students coming down despite Thursday was the interview day for Medic.

And for the today, I just wanna cry buckets after finishing presenting EAW, and my Bio 2 Test 2.

I'm so gonna be dead,
The Girl in A Hood.

P/S : Tomorrow, there's the 2nd session for Ibadah camp. I felt so bersalah cause lambat buka WhatsApp utk susun kerusi. I'm so sorry guys. TT.TT

Interview Pharmacy Degree UIA : Part 1.

Hashtag #relieved.

Alhamdulillah. I'd done it guys! I'd finally pass the interview session. (Still, we don't know the results so... #krik2)

For me...
Mine was not bad, but not good either.
Still a have little regret of it.
But still really grateful for not having a break down during the interview. Haha.

So here are some tips and tricks + experience (mine) for those who are going for an interview at UIA especially Pharmacy.

I'm going to talk about my experience first (plus the tips along the way).

2-3 weeks (or is it a month?) before the interview, if I'm not mistaken early March, we were required to attend a briefing given by our study advisor, regarding the interview of our course. Mostly regrading, the CGPA pointer and exchange of courses in UIA.

To take a Pharmacy degree in UIA, you must at least score a 3.50 to get the interview. Lower, than that, you are required to take a second application for Allied Health Science for backup if you didn't get into Pharmacy's course.

But sometimes, even you have a pointer below than 3, you may still get the opportunity for the interview, (it depends of the Faculty's decision).

And if you want to change for example to Medic and Dentistry, you must have at a CGPA of 3.75, but this is still due to the decision of the Admission department of the respective course, if they have availability and etc.

You can also change to other courses, but still there are certain procedures to be taken.

This interview is very very important, as even you have a good result in your CFS, you still may fail to get the course you want if you fail the interview.

So please be prepared, if it's something you really really want.

Plus, not all in UIA have a compulsory interview, which is as far as I know, Medic, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Allied Health Science have an interview. Biosciences and Physical Science doesn't have an interview.

After that, I started researching about most related pharmaceutical issues and etc.

The day before (yesterday), I went to my classmate's room which is going to take the same course as I am (tu pon lepas dah kacau roommate sendiri (yg semuanya medic) untuk help preparing my interview. Mian~~) .

We discuss the possible questions ask and all (which I will list down later)

So the next day...

At 8 o'clock we had to gather for a briefing of introduction of our panels, which are a total of 10, We were divided into 5 groups. So 2 interviewer for each group. It was an individual interview where we face 2 interviewer : 1 students. According to the name list, we had 24 students per each group, so we had a total of 120 students applying for the course.

There were some students (around 15-20, I guess) for other courses in PJ which were either invited (I'm not quite sure of this, as I really didn''t remember to ask them) or managed to apply for the Pharmacy course.

But the one thing, I pity them, coz most of them had never been to Gambang, so it is a little worrisome for them, coz they don't really actually know the venue of the interview.
Anyway, I think they did just fine. :)

We also had 2 session, the morning and afternoon session.

I got the afternoon session. Alhamdulillah. (I'm the last one. Haha.)

And...

Me. Being me, something did happened today, the day of interview.

To be continue..
(I promise this time. That is I will write the Part 2.)

Never been so relieved,

The Girl in A Hood.

Am I a Keyboard Warrior?

Guess what?
I didn't have my presentation last Friday.
So skrg jadi penunggu terhormat bila2 je turn presentation. Haha.

And at the same Friday FRC had organized a taalim titled 'Am I a keyboard warrior?'.
It was very interesting, I had to admit, the speaker present to us many new things to us.
It was a shame, that I didn't hear the first part of the talk, as I was helping at the back potong-kek-pisang-yang-extra-manis. But still glad I helped out.

This are some of the things that I managed to learn :

Cybertroopers - people that support one side of a story (usually paid to do so)

Macai - defend others/issue although does not know anything about the people/issue

Ghosttroppers - the 'ghost' in the cyber world

(Addition, from student. Stalker - someones who stalks other. Haha. Btw, Friendster has this feature that can detect who stalks you.)

Don't do a split personality between the real & virtual world. Be yourself but be cautious in anything you do online.

Think before you post or share.

How fake tweet is done <- search this yourself, but don't do it.

Related Quranic verses - al-Hujeraat : 6, ar-Ruum : 41, Qaf : 18.

Sorry for the terrible retelling, I merely wrote back my notes. TT.TT #lazy

Btw, I have an interview for my upcoming kuliah-to-be (Pharmacy) which is tomorrow.  And serious talk here, only 1 % preparation for it.

What I am doing here?
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : It is my little sister S's birthday, she's turning 13 already. Huwaa. A big girl. My family (except me, cause I'm stucked in Gambang for at least another month) visited her at her boarding school to celebrate her birthday. Aww, how much I miss them. They called me, and I remember that at the end of the call, my dad was like 'we love you' and my mom and adiks was like ramai2 'we love you' kat blkg. #macammanatakrindu TT.TT

Huargh!

Worse more,

It is English presentation.

Huargh!

Even more worse,

the lecturer is going to pick randomly who is going to present.

Triple huargh!!

And here I'm eating a burger to calm me down. #that'stheonlyfoodicanfind #typicalstresseating
Pray for my tongue,

P/S : I'm gonna be okay. #selfassurance #howreassuring *roll eyes*

Tuesday, 29 March 2016

Haha.

Just wanna say.

I really do not make much sense when I write, right? #justafterreadingmyblog

Guess I have to make time to reread and edit in the future.

#iwish

Dissapointed.

So guess what's the reason now I didn't update?

As I said that my lappy does not want to connect to IIUM's Wifi, I used my own data. And guess what? It was like 20 hours per day no signal. Huwaa. How I'm suppose to connect to the Internet??

But still Alhamdulillah, it's back on right now.

So back to the topic.

Dissapointed. Yes.

I was very busy since Friday until Monday with FRC's Programme. Some of the units have their most-busy-time during the programme, but for me, my not-so-busy-time is during the programme, cause before and after that, I'm busy buzzing off setteling the reciepts and fiacial work of the society. But still, I still have to look busy during the programme as if not, some will think I'm not doing any work. Like what?? Do you actually know my work? *firey eyes*

So last Sunday, after the first session of Ibadah camp is setteled, along with the post-mortem meeting and meeting for the upcoming programme, my kakak Naqibah from IIUM Kuantan decided to come for our usrah, and it's been like a month since we met her and being in usrah. I obviously miss being in usrah. TT.TT

At first, my Naqibah, kak M said the the guards wouldn't let her go up our building, so we had to go down to meet her up and the cafe below. And for sure, I was late due to tunggu+lambat buka WhatsApp+ tkr baju.

Then after that, meeting her and my other usrahmates with a little chitchat as usual, we started our usrah.,.

A few moments later...
After we finished our recitation of the Qur'an.

And not yet, get into the tadabbur, like during the translation recitation one of the akak guards said that she had to go. In my mind, I was like what? Seriously what? Did we do anything wrong??

And my kak M said give her 5 minutes before she goes.

The atmosphere changed, but we still continue a little tadabbur although quite gloomy.

It was just like 1 point, and wrapped up. And she started packing to go.

Which breaks my heart.

When then, a abang guard came and like scold her for not leaving.

I was like "Hey bro, she IS leaving, are you blind? No needd to scold her in front of public. Some courtesy please. "

Which was only stuck in my mind.

Kak M said to him "I'm levaing as promised, But can I salam my adiks before I go?"

#thisisseriouslybreakingmyheart

He was like "You may. But please go quickly." (Maybe he calm down a bit after scolding.)

After the whole breaking heart process, (we was like comforting kak M it is okay, and she did the same. we were like okay, she drove like an hour from Kuantan, and despite her tight schedule as a soon-to-be-doctor, she still came. so triple respect okay?) the reason why IIUM security becames strict from my friend aka usrahmate N. N told us that not long ago, within this month I guess? That a student of CFS join an outside programme, and something went a little wrong and the student called him/her parents which then led to them almost sueing IIUM.

So here's the lessons :

1st lesson : Allah knows. Allah sees. Do it for the sake of you yourself and Him. Don't care of what other's talk, if you know you are right (and you actually are).

2nd lesson : Sometimes doing good has it's own challenges. So have courage and be brave.

3rd lesson : For those after-schoolers and still below 20, and already 20, please mature a bit, okay? Don't be like pandai2 sendiri, then something berlaku call parents. You already at least 18, so please. You get something wrong, be responsible for it. Don't cause others to suffer along because of you.

4th lesson : For the parents, or soon to be parents, don't be overprotective, the child is already 18, let them mature and grow up, You have already get to fully guide them for 18 years, so let them mature a bit with their own decision. They're not going to have you for the rest of their lives (sadly speaking.) And don't blame others first if something goes wrong, search the cause find the best solution. I know you love your child like nothing else in the world, but show the love in the best way okay?

So how's is the next usrah gonna be.
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : Just so you know, I don't blame IIUM for the actions taken. They are doing their best in taking care of us from trouble, and are in the middle between parental pressure and the pressure of complaints from us. But can you give us a little space, at least give 1 hour before you shoo someone off. Hrmm?

Free time.

Assalamualaikum.

So, it’s been the longest time I didn’t update since I started this blog. Huhu. For the past fortnight, I’d been thinking on writing when I’m free. But guess what?

It didn’t work.

So In Shaa Allah, I will keep in mind to reenter back my writing-my-blog schedule, so that I would keep on writing.

Even it’s not much. I promise to my dear future self that I will keep on writing (cause it’s upsetting me seeing me not updating). I don’t write for others to read. I write for my future self to read. So here it is to my future self.

For today, I managed to finish my EAW Draft 2, even cincai2 je. Jadila. BIO, Log A3 n Log B2. And one thing for sure, I still don’t understand why we need a lot of assignments. Like seriously? Huwaa.
I woke up late, feeling fresh (I guess) with extra couple or more of sleep. And I gave a gift for my friend S's birthday (I'm so proud of myself).

There so much more to update coz so may things hapenned in this 2 weeks. So much to update. But I think, I stop here first. :)

So much for free time, huh?

It's H's birthday!!

Assalamualaikum, everyone.

I hope you all in the pink of health.

So... As the title's saying it's H birthday!!(You probably know who's H, if you read one of my previous post. I won't tell which one. Haha.) H is a little brother, the one below me. (I'm the eldest btw.) And it's his birthday. He's officially 17 guys! (You can imagine how old I am now. #iamnotoldokay? #denial) Oh, how time has past.

Guys... Do you wanna know a story? It's probably a funny one.

The story goes like this. Yesterday morning, my dad was like happy birthday H and anak soleh so on. And everyone was like oh it's already 4th of March, so happy birthday. Even the birthday boy though so, that it was his birthday yesterday. As I didn't meet them the morning, when they came back from school, brother I was like "Kakak, tak wish H ke~?". And I was too like oh yeah I forgot to wish. So happy birthday, H.

After some time...

A commotion started of from my mom and my two brothers. They just figured out that they got the wrong day. I was like "I even told the teachers it was your birthday, Dang it!". My mom was like "How could you forget your own birthday. Haha." And H was like "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." #pityhim

What was I doing? Watching the scene while trying to digest the fact that the day was 3rd of March. #me #beingme

So this was the story of a boy mistook his own birthday.

Haha.

So today, we were all just like Happy Biryhday, H. Again. Haha.

Next time,
The Girl in A Hood.

SOUL 15/16.

Assalamualaikum.

So.... I have so much to tell and and babble again. So first things first ( I don't know which one to put first. Haha. But here it is. ) I was suppose to type and write on Febuary 29. And now, I'm writing on 1 March. Huwaa. Cause you know guys, it's 29 Febuary, it supposed to be special, I guess? But something came up, again. (I will tell this more on another post.)

Second, I was literally sick. Worse on Saturday, which the day I had a program with the society. Which then, I wanted to join but my body couldn't take it anymore I had to rest.  I felt so sucked up feeling sick but still it is a blessing. (I have a lot more to talk about being sick but... it will be too long.)  My fever has died down, and I no longer sound like an old toad, but my 'hingus' is being so filling-up-my-nose all the time. And a cough every now and then. (I just  coughed when I write cough just now. Haha. So weird. Knee-jerk mechanism, eh?) Still Alhamdulillah, my nose isn't so runny and the mucus is thickening up. If not, there will be like drops of water dripping everytime.

Third, my little brother, I is now annoying me. And could o longer write. He must have miss me so much. Yes, I'm back home guys. And my mother, H and I is back home from school.

This was suposed to be the intro TT.TT,

Go Green! Part 2.

Assalamualaikum.

Before I srart going to the topic, just for your info, I'm 'curi masa' right now. Cause I have 2 projects to be done. And I haven't properly started. Running out of time, I'm still gonna update this blog. So me. Haha.

Go Green! Obviously, you know what's it's about. Saving our beloved earth and so on. So our Hisbah, Hisbah Ibn Tufail organized a campaign called Go Green, which comprises some activities and campaign.

So we had many activities during the week. We had to sweep the corridors, wash the toilets (which both made me felt good as it felt like I'm helping the Mak Cik Cleaner, which she had to do all these things everyday. Tiring yes, but it felt good. It's like we doing some sort of charity work. Through this we also bond with our 'neighbours'. Haha Get to know them and so. ), we also got free food which is beehon Singapore, which comes with a plastic container so we could use it to pack our food from the cafe, instead of polysterene and paper. It was yummy but my roommates and I thought the pepper was a little bit too much. And as for the plastic container. I accidently broke the lid of my container (like in terkoyak), just right after I wash it. Like it just literally feel off the shelf. And terkoyak. Oh well, no luck with that I guess.

But one of the best was the Door Signage competition. Here are some pictures I wanna share (Hopefully the owners wouldn't mind.)

Okay. I have to update later. The pictures won't upload. TT.TT

Giving a friend a gift.

Assalamualaikum.

I’m sorry for not updating these past few days. I thought I would update every 3 days the least. But you know what?

I forgot that already 3 days have gone by since my last update. Silly me TT.TT  So I had to update at least a thing today.

Also, I’m really sorry that most of my updates are sentencely-wrong. I usually don’t check what I wrote after I wrote. Cause if not, I tend to make it perfect. And it takes time. Huhu. I always had a lot in mind. But it seems that my fingers are not quick enough in typing all the words cross my brain.

Ok so much for the intro. Today, in a very very long time. I give my friend a gift. For her birthday. We weren’t close to begin with. Just like classmate and if jumpa like hi and all that. So I think she must be surprised to receive the gift. But, well I’m surprised myself. I always wanted to give my friends gifts for their birthdays to know that there are all special to me. But still, time, time, time plus forgetfulness. Like okay, I gonna give for all, but what are the suitable gifts? What if she already have it? When should I go out to buy? For me, myself I like a letter for a gift. That’s like the most gift I would love. Just thinking that this person had taken the time to sit and write to me made it so special. Also, a true friend would really appreciate it. I guess. Hrmmm. Wow, I could talk a lot about getting gifts. So maybe another post?

But well, wrapping a gift prettyly and nicely (highlight the words prettily and nicely) takes a lot of time, man. Even, a simple gift. I took almost 1 hour if I’m not mistaken for this 1 gift. And as I didn’t plan out her gift (let’s call my friend As), I think it looks horrible. (I had to rethink wheter I could give it to her or not. But last2 bagi juga. Haha. ) Also, because ot is unplanned I had to make up with what I had. (Not quite what I had, I got the baki kertas majung and selotape (is that how you spell it?), from my roommates.)

Here's the picture. It looks horrible right?
If only I had brown paper instead of white.
It would have been much nicer. Huhu.

Why did I give her a gift even we’re not that close? The reason was that my classmate planned a surprise and gathering for us. They’d planned out so many creative things to be hung at her bed place. It was lovely. There’s a picture saying happy birthday. And string of paper flags like you could find in a party also, hang tags made from our birthday wishes. It was beautiful when they hung it up to surprise her. The creative team had done a really good job. So as everyone seemed to had done something, I had to do something as well right? So I gave her that gift.
But no matter what the reason is, it’s good to gift someone else a gift. Even, the simplest thing. J

I should had try harder,
The Girl in a Hood

P/S : We had mee goreng (that one of my friend S, well her kakak belanja, a treat for her first gaji. So yeay! Save money for food. Hehe.), some snacks and also air sirap (which the birthday girl yang bancuh. Haha.) Btw, her birthday is Monday, but it’s okay to celebrate a little early I guess. Hehe.

It's too late ; Part 1.

I.AM.SO.DUMB.

Literally guys, I mean literally.

So…

I have a story to tell. I know people like hearing stories. But not experiencing one (the bad ones).

Here I am at Gambang. Yesterday. (8th of Feb 2016, Monday) #missinghome

And I couple of stupid incidents happened.

So here is the story. (Haha.)

I was in the bus from Bangi to Gambang. At first at was alone, at the Kajang station. Just me and the driver. In a bus. The thought scared me a little. But I put faith in Allah.  (Guess not many rides a bus during a Chinese New Year holiday. So, girls anything beware.) Alhamdulillah, we arrived at the TBs station (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan I guess? Haha), and a few more rode the bus. It only occupied half of the bus.

So the journey went on, and as the minutes goes by. We came nearer and nearer to our destination. And a little bit info, my bus usually stops at both UMP bus stop and TSK (Terminal Sentral Kuantan (usually okay usually not always now I guess). And in the bus, I was running working very hard in building the kingdom up in the sky (take the literature meaning), and wondering when we will arrive (which was already 6 fifteen that time which mean we are supposed to be shortly) while trying to concentrate on not puking (I have kinda like mabuk jln. Huhu.) and concentrating in memorizing my Bio Notes.

A few while later, around 6 thirty, I look up at the window and saw ‘Gambang 500m’, my heart leaped with joy knowing we will arriving soon, and earlier than usual (usually we arrive around 7 plus plus). Happy knowing that I will no longer sooner arrive, I started keeping my belongings in my bag, preparing to be delivered of.

A.few.moments.later….

‘Aren’t we supposed to arrive yet?’ my mind thought. ‘Oh well, maybe I calculated wrongly.

Another few moments later…

‘Something’s not right. We’re supposed to be way pass Gambang’s tol by now.’ As my heart was starting to get worrying, my head spin to the left and right, looking out through the windows of the bus. When just then, I saw from the other side of the road (which was the opposite direction from us).
I saw Gambang 17 km.

Guys. My bus just went heading straight to the Kuantan’s tol instead of heading to Gambang’s tol, which leads to the UMP bus stop. My place where I wanna stop. Huwaa. *cries in pool*

And the journey went on straight to TSK. No turing back now.

It's too late.

Couldn’t get any worse? Wait until part 2.

I should have remind the driver,

The Girl in A Hood.

Go Green! Part 1.

So my little sister and mother just arrived home from her asrama, right just as I finished typing and posting my previous post. My mother squeezed my arms (It hurt guys. Me and my family, including my dad always says that her bones are made from steel. She's just so strong. We won't blame you if you die from being hug from her. Haha. ) from behind saying "Akak masak apa today?", while my other adiks get the bags from the car inside the house (seriously, there's this one bag, is a luggage bag. My mum joke that they just came from the airport when it's only just kilometres away. Haha.)

So me and my adik S, salam and hugged. Oh how much I missed her. She also commented that I'm way kurus from the last time she saw  me, also my little brother L agreed too. So I was just like "Well, I've been going to gym, you know.". And there was just like "Is this our kakak?". Haha. They didn't believe me. So I told them I only been to the gym once, and they laugh their head off (syukur, tak tercabut kepala diorang.) "Pergi sekali, pon bole kurus?". But in the end, they agreed that I am now thinner than before, which I still disagree. :( Also, Me and S, sempat compare our skin tone to see whose darker (I'm quite fairer than S, even though I'd still considered having a dark complexion). Typical girls, huh?

Ok, dah melalut sampai dua perenggan.

Going on to the topic...
Last week, as I was going down the stairs and waling along the hallway to my room.

I saw...

It was the Go Green campaign organized by Hibah Ibn Tufail! :) So as I continued walking to my room, I found more kind words.

This one funnily, reminds me of teeth. :D

But the best one, I would say is this one. The one near my room.

Insipring isn't it?

Sorry, gotta go. Mom's call.
