When Allah wants to show how our rezqi is meant for us.

So this is a story of a week and a half ago (I know I keep postpone my blog posts but let's set that aside. )

That weekend I was really productive I had volunteering work 2 days consecutively and some was back to back (that was just a divert from the topic).

Since finance is a bit tight now for my family, I'm always much more cautious of where my money go and this time I was worried about the transport.

I was working over the booth on my own because it was my shift but somehow I was alone. So.. I was thinking I have to pay for myself the grab fare because of course I would be too tired to walk back to the mahallah from the office of campus director which is on the other side of the campus. Still, I say Alhamdulillah that I still have money to pay & basically the previous grab fares were covered by the NGO.

But suddenly my friend came, turns out she had a solat break and of course she wants to go back together. So the fare is split to 2. Alhamdulillah.

Then while we were waiting for the grab (turns out the grab arrived earlier but another car was blocking so we didn't notice), another friend shows up wanting to go to the same direction. So now th fare is split into 3. Again, Alhamdulillah.

To end the story, the one who was in charge of the booth told me that she's covering the grab fare for us. So basically it's free! Ma Sha Allah. Again & again Alhamdulillah.

I didn't thought it would turn out that way. But certainly, it's a great reminder for me to always be grateful & trust Allah that our rezqi never wrong.

What is meant to be, is meant to be,

Tawakkul

I'm writing this because I think it's not just mere coincidence. Today, I come across tawakkul a few times.

First from the book of 'The Art of Letting God'. Second, from FaceBook. Third from Youtube, this video.

So what is tawakkul? Perfect complete trust in Allah. Simple. Allah is Al-Wakeel, whom we rely, we trust.

And this is what I must do.

Trust Allah fully in His plans.

You can do it!

Pathophysiology of Sin

Tonight there's this Biah Solehah Campaign opening ceremony which there was a talk given by Dr Che An called "Pathophysiology of Sin". Sounds so typically scientific. I didn't go to the talk with the thought that I catch up with studying. Which I did. Kinda.

But being me, I was distracted by the Internet (but I still I can still finish this one Anti Cancer lecture. Btw, I finished one the afternoon before.). So IPhA put the talk on FB live & surprisingly it was very nice talk. I smiled & laughed during the talk even it was supposed to be serious. But still, I learned a lot.

And then a few moments later, I clicked on an AA video titled "We all sin". Coincidence much hey. Which is why I decided to write my baby wondering thoughts.

We all sinned. Every single day. Just differently.

No body can escape this fact. We are all sinners.

But what's the best thing is that we can make taubah & try again.

Taubah, erase our sin. Ma Sha Allah, what a gift that is?

Try again. If we failed try again. Again & again.

We don't want syaitaan to win here, right? We want to go to Jannah, right? We want to be better, right?

For me, I have my own sins. No doubts. Some I try again and again to win the battle for years.

But trust it's worth it to never give up.

Anger management

I'm contemplating now, which topic should I talk about first.

Cause I'm so mad (not quite, now), I decided in writing now.

For people who know me, I'm quite the person who shows every reason to smile.

And rarely get mad (that's why my adiks said that they are so scared if I get mad.)

But there are 2 things, that will burst my anger like a hot zit.

One, people who disrespect others.

Two, people who talk bad about things which are not right in front or behind the people I care.

Still, I have the patience to tolerate a one time mistake.

Now.

I really think I'm more pissed off than mad.

And it's not like a one time event. Like consequent events like make me piss off like this.

One, lack of empathy (doesn't put him/herself in other place). Second, lack of communication.

That's two thing I can say which frust me out, now. Really don't you think of others?

For me myself, the reason why I talk much is that so the other person would me comfortable talking to me later (cause they would think they know much about me and my personality so on).

There's really no other reason I talk except that.

So please talk people. Don't trouble the other party side.

And btw, that's how I managed my anger. I talk, sort it out. Cause I understand the other party.
In the end of the day, it benefits both sides. Being both rational while emotional careful is important.

And one thing people need to quit, talking behind the backs. That's another I'm really trying to be careful with my words.

Easy story. You can talk out with me. Discuss.

I'm not mad already.
The Girl in A Hood

Bonus: Sign of my anger, I huff. Sign of my frustration, I sigh first before I talk.

Sit up straight

I had wanted to update my blog, since yesterday I found an interesting topic, but since I'm too occupied studying for my Physiology Quiz yesterday, I couldn't find the time. And since I found another topic I wanted to share, so maybe I will left my other topic to be forgotten.

Before, I start, how was my quiz today?
Answer: I so-so regret it. Nah. It was quite okay. #denial

Today's classes ended early at 3 (3.10 p.m to be exact), and the last class is tutorial class with Dr Kauthar. She taught us on Diffusion & Complexity (or is it Complexation, I forgot). Well, the 2nd topic I didn't get to study yet (yet how come I could have the time to update my blog? Priorities, dear). #tomorrowisthequiz #shortanswersthroughandthrough

In between teaching us on the parts we asked questions, she also gives us a 'Tazkirah Khamis' (the term came up by her). I have to say it is a good one, and I wanna re translate it down so I could always read it over and over. It would be a good reminder for you too perhaps.

What she said was (lebih kurang la):

When we feel sleepy, we should take coffee, ribena, milo & so on.
When we feel tired, we have to make us untired again.
When we are so busy, and not enough time, make time.
We should do our best.
Come to class, sit straight, don't slouch, look straight at the lecturer, write rigorously using the pen, and don't fall asleep.
Yes, we are sleepy.
Yes, we are tired.
Yes, we are busy.
But is it the reason to not do our best?
The answer is no.
I never hope you guys get all 80-90s marks, or all As. What I expect you to do is your best.
And as long as we are living in this world, and not here after, we should do our best.
God didn't said te world is easy. But did He said we couldn't make it easy?
No. Therefore, put effort in everything and do our best.
As long as we're living in this world.

So proud. :)

My adik, H is on the newspaper guys!!

Omo. I'm so proud.

Like 3/4 of the page is about him.

And his face is all over it.

He got into news for being a young writer who have fans all over the world. (#soproud #unlikeme #seriouslydoesanyonereadmywritings? #younowknowwheremywritingtalentwalkoff #justkidding)
(I'm gonna give pictures and links soon.)

It like Wednesday ago. I was so eager on writing that very day, but I couldn't since FRC organized a taalim which is Daebak!

The support was tremendous until we need to fetch several more chairs as there were not enough room to sit. Well.. The speaker is a famous person (Shukery somtin2, penulis tarbiyah sentap.)

His talk.. Is kinda catchy for adolescence like us, he made a lot of jokes but still the knowledge still be presented.

The talk was about Love. Aha, you're right, so that's why we got a lot of students coming down despite Thursday was the interview day for Medic.

And for the today, I just wanna cry buckets after finishing presenting EAW, and my Bio 2 Test 2.

I'm so gonna be dead,

P/S : Tomorrow, there's the 2nd session for Ibadah camp. I felt so bersalah cause lambat buka WhatsApp utk susun kerusi. I'm so sorry guys. TT.TT

New Year Resolution. Me?

Alhamdulillah.

Finally.

Yes, finally.

I got hold of my laptop!

So here's a post from me to you. :D

Assalamualaikum, btw.

Happy New Year (even though it's already 3rd Jan. Haha.)

Actually, I don't know what I should post about New Year, when it came (I'm still in daze, that's it's  already 2016. Haha.) So I didn't post anything on 1 Jan. Sorry. Even it's a resolution or whatever. I rarely have New Year Resolution (or was it never? Sorry, I forgot!). Cause I'm the type of person that don't have Goals. Oh no, it sounds bad. I have Goals, but it changes according to time, interest, situation and so on. (Now, it sounds much better.) I'm the kind of person, that make like small mini goals like every week (or every day). Like I should study for how many hours today, go exercise (which I never do), or how much I should score on my quiz. (If my business life, I plan goals like how many customers I should have in a week, how much my sale should reach, how many posts should I have post in my Instagram/FB Page and etc). Also, anothers like this week, I should have about 5 post on my blog, or I should spend less on food. That's why my goals are mostly flexible (so that I wouldn't want to be dissapointed in the end). I do have big goals like I should score a 4 flat for this semester, or my business should by this much by the end of (any month). I do have other goals in my social life, like I should be more sociable today, or I should listen to people more today, or even I should smile more today. In the religion aspect, I do have goals also as I want to become a good servant. (Oh boy, I do have a lot of goals. I just didn't realise. >< )

Anyway, (it's just my opinion), goals are suppose to make you happy about yourself, your life. Cause that what really matter. (But, don't do goals, that bring misery to others.) People should have goals, it makes life much more meaningful. But, please don't pressure yourself. Even, the result might not go as well as you have goaled. Just be happy, Be positive. There's always the Sun after the Moon (ada ke peribahasa ni?). There's always a turn out better than you thought. In Shaa Allah, just trust me on this okay?

Also, never do a goal without a plan. It's one of the stupidest thing one could do (If you didn't do a plan. I'm not calling you stupid. I's just a saying.). Make sure you plan out, so you could possibly achieve what you targeted, okay? And don't forget to put best effort you can. You can do it! Go go go!

Fighting!
The Girl in A Hood

P/S: I actually what to write something else, but it turn out this way, Still, I'm happy. :)
P/S No 2 : Fighting tu pengaruh korea ler tu. Haha.
P/S No 3 : Some of it may not be goals, but it makes improvement on my life.
P/S No 4 : Don't forget to reward yourself after you achieve your goal. It's the best part other than achieving the goal. :)

Simple Act of Kindness.

Assalamualaikum, everyone! :)

Today, I'm gonna continue a little bit of my story from 26 Disember (Here's the link if you want to read it! :) )  I actually have much more to talk about my life and life itself. But I keep forgetting what I want to write, when I want to write it. :(

So today's blog can be said the [3rd lesson learnt] from that day. This is a sweet story, just so you know. :)

So as I was talking, on 26 Disember 2015, me and my 'adiks' went iceskating, And as I was iceskating and talking with my little sister. A little someone came up to me? Can you guess? Nah.. It's not a special someone (I believe that I will wait for that 'special someone', and only accept that person only if 'he' do it the respected way. Where he respect my wali. *ialwaysdreamtofit* #girlsdream ).

It was just a little kid that came up to me. (You can imagine a little cute Malay boy around 5 years old). And the best thing that he came up to me with like sorta a medium size (kinda like the size of a tennis ball I perhaps?) snow ball in his hands. As a little kid, the snow ball was kinda handful in his tiny hands. What made it so sweet is that he came up in front of me and nudge the snow ball towards me like he really want me to have it (In my age, when I was a kid, If I had a snowball, which was a thing, I really want. And if I got it I wouldn't want anyone to have it, except the one I love the most. Ish3. Nmpk tak kedekutnya disitu. Islam tak ajar ye. In Islam, we are taught to give the item that we love the most to someone else. In return, we know (and believe) that Allah will give something better than that. In Shaa Allah. It's only up to us to believe and have faith in Him).

So, as he really want to gave it to me, I whole-heartedly accepted it with joy and a smile. :) (I'm still smiling now. It's just so sweet. I cannot. ><) And, he (the kid) also left with a smile.

So here's the little lesson I learnt. In life, even the simplest kind of kindness and gift can make someone happy. Just like what Islam has taught us. Which is sedeqah. There is one story about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) where he had a (sebijik ape dalam English? Haha.) tamar. And as you know, if you ever fasted only just have a tamar to break your fast. I bet you would have it all by yourself. And guess what? Did Rasulullah, our beloved Prophet have it all by himself even if someone ask for it? Nope, he didn't. When, someone ask for some food, he gave half of the whole tamar. And when he was ask again, he halves it again leaving him a quarter. Which is not much. But guess what? Even, with a quarter of the tamar to break his fast. It was enough. And made him happy. (I really apologise. If this story was somewhat inaccurate. I just retold what I remember in my mind. Again, sorry. I'm just a creation, not the All- Mighty creator. Also, if you are surely kind, correct me my wrongs. Jazakillah khair. )(And yes, fasting is much more than 'menahan' hunger and thirst, You know it when you try it! :) )

So let's start today, do a simple act of kindness. Even it's not much. I'm sure it will spread happiness to the world.

A picture of me and the kid?
Sorry for the bad drawing. ;(

Happy me,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S: After the kid left, I gave it to my sister in hope that she would be happy. But she just smashed it to the ground (the ice rink). TT.TT

Second P/S: May Allah grant happiness and blessings for those who read. Again, Jazakillah khair for reading. <3

Today's story and lesson. :)

Bismillah.

Today I learnt a lot of things.

I learn about life, emotions.

Seems deep, right?

Today, I actually went to ice skate with my little brother (brother I and L) and my little sister S, one of my little brother (brother H) didn't go (I was kinda dissapointed, but he wasn't the outdoor type to begin with). (Fyi, I am the eldest child. So all are my 'little adiks' <3 ). It has been 2 months since my last semester (I'm on my semester break. Will be going back to university soon. Don't wanna go back. Huwaa. :( ), and I had been wanting (and itching *scratch-scratch) to go ice skate. Alhamdulillah, finaally after the long wait I finaally go to go ice skate for the 3rd time.

While ice-skating, I fell a few times (I'm no expert in this anyways. It's my 3rd time going. TT.TT That's why I kept falling. Haha. ) But despite falling, I manage to get up. [1st lesson learnt] Just the same as life. Even if we fall, we must get up. Cause that's life. And the best thing is how we manage to get up. Sometimes, I got up on my own. Sometimes, my siblings help me. And the same things goes to life. At times, we fall, there must be way to get up. Trust me. Surely. Maybe slowly, but surely. So never give up. Cause you don't know, when the best things in life are going to happen to you *winks*. Eventhough we fall for no reason, maybe unexpectedly, or even expectedly, only and truly believe that God has better plans for us (just like when I fall on the ice rink).

[2nd lesson learnt] The 2nd thing, I saw and learnt is that either you have a bad or good friend. Both will pull you towards it either intentionally or not (unless you are strong by yourself). And if you are really strong enough, you will be the one who's pulling. And if you really love your friend, or someone, maybe you can start toughen up, and be pulling them up with you. :) This is what I learnt when the 'adiks' hold my hand, and unintentionally pull me with them, (actually more like dragging), cause I'm kinda slow at skating (even walking), which made me getting pull (slide is more accurate) across the rink. And I'm glad they did that. Cause they pull (in life can mean guide) throughout the rink to the start back again.

And after that we (actually they pray), and we went on sight-seeing? Haha. In the mall (except brother I, he went on his own - which had troubled us later).

So these are (some, they are more, but I'm already too tired to write more) the things or lessons I learnt, today? What are yours? :)

See you next time!
The Girl in A Hood

Funny story : To use the locker at that place we had to buy a coin which costs us RM 2 per coin (and can only be used once). We bought 2 coins, in mind that we going to use twice (the other one is when we had our break and need to use again the locker after that). And so bad for us, we used up a coin because we accidently left our gloves, in our bag, in the locker (we had already wear our skates, and was up to go to the ice rink. <- Nmpk x excited sangat nak ice skate >< ). So we had to purchase another coin for RM 2. How money flies. *imagining money flying with wings* Total RM 6, for just a locker. *kaching!*
IOI City Mall-The place we went to ice skate. :)
