Revived.

Based on True Story.

Dear blog,

Today I'd felt like crying.

I don't know why.

I don't know how.

But let's just say.

Some small things trigger me to cry.

One after the other.

And...

After 2 o'clock is when I couldn't hold it any longer.

I went to the bathroom and cried.

But well, the bathroom stinks.

So I left.

I wanted a something. Something that only can released me

Release me from my fears, my burdens, my sadness.

I wanted solace.

So I took my wudhu' and went for the jemaah prayer at the musolla.

I cried a little during solah.

I cried a little during reading the Kahfi.

But I just had to hold back.

I couldn't let my feelings overwhelm me.

Just please Hold back a little longer heart.

Just until I finish my ibadah.

I wanted guidance. I wanted peace.

In my heart, I knew that only Him could give it. Only Him.

So I sat in the corner around the musolla.

Scrambling,
Juggling in my thoughts, I just sat, back facing the walls, my mouth puffed a sigh.

It's just too hard. Too hard. My mind said.

And then, I saw at the corner of my eyes, a paper written

"No one besides Allah can save a soul from Hardship."

My heart struck. Feelings overwhelm me.

The burden. The hardships. The stress.

Causing my tears to trickle,

Then, pouring down like rain gushing.

When I just settling back down.

A voice coming from my head reminds

"Why did try to find answer from other than Him? Trying to search solace other than Him? Trying to feel complete when you know the answer is Him. Him, the One and Only. Just believe in Him"

Those words.

It hit me.

With a smile.

Moments after that,

I walked to the bathroom to wash face.

And I walked out.

Back again to the musolla.

And a gush a wind hits me.

One after another.

I stand besides the wall.

This feeling.

Is just what I needed.

All my worries, my thoughts vanishes.

As the air pulsates through my veins and flew away with the wind.

And I look up at the sky.

I saw the beautiful blue sky and the fluffy white clouds.

With that, another smile planted.

Allah.

I saw it with my own eyes.

The clouds.

Forming the words of the Al-Mighty.

The One and Only.

Finally,
my feet started to leave quietly the place,
knowing
that
I feel
revived
again. :)

Sometimes, you just need to cry,
The Girl in A Hood.

NGANTUK1? GO AWAY!

Assalamulaikum wrb.

Staying up is a struggle. Whether in class or even late at night (to study, usually). I don’t know if you know this but, It’s a real struggle man! It’s a war a battle! Okay, maybe I’m over reacting. But
But one weird thing, when I started to think about it. I noticed that only now I started to get sleepy in class. (Which I rarely do in the past. Or absolutely not at all.)

So here are some tips that I heard (and practiced. Well only some. But people are created different from one another, so maybe some work for me, and some may work for you. So I try to give as much as I remember, okay?)

TIPS TO NOT BE SLEEPY (in CLASS) by The Girl in A Hood (or still in A Blanket?)

1.            Get enough sleep. This is maybe the hardiest to do, but still it’s the best way. And… Just a thing I found, (not sure that it is scientifically proven or not, that ‘enough’ sleep to people varies. For some, it maybe 5 hours a day is more than enough (I knew a friend that only needs 4 hours of sleep.) For me, myself, I need 8 hours, so that I would not feel sleepy at times I don’t want, especially in class. (Don’t laugh, it’s real. TT.TT) So as you know your body better, try to find the suitable and sufficient amount of sleep for you. As sleeping too much and too little, can both be a reason.

2.            Sleep early, wake up early. As simple as that. It’s better that way. Btw, it’s advantage for students, cause (if I’m not mistaken), studies shows that study early morning is much much better outcome than studying late at night. But still, it’s just an overall view, so don’t be angry at me, if you prefer late night studying. Aha! Other, than it benefits for students, it also an advantage for muslims too. As you can perform Qiam. And Qiam has loads of benefits if you manage to perform it, and one of them, is lowering the rate of heart disease. So saying, killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Huh? (Pity, the birds.  L)

3.            Get enough Oxygen and Glucose. As you know, if you learn Biology, respiration needs Glucose and Oxygen to respire. You know, to wake up the tired eyes of yours. So, it’s a good idea, to walk to class, as it increases the amount of Oxygen in your body, besides helping you getting a healthier body (and the ideal body that you want. *winks*). Other than that, you can also practice the 7-3-2 (Is that what it’s called? I forgot. LOL. But something around that, I suppose.) breathing technique, drinking water, and eating sweets or snacks to help the sleepinesss to go away. Also, another thing I discover is eating something that requires you to munch, is better at getting rid of the sleepiness that something that requires you to not.

4.            Try looking at something green. This is what my teachers said when I was in secondary school. It kinda help me. So I would recommend try doing it. Try looking at the trees through the windows(if you actually have one, in your class. Haha.)

5.            Do something that can surprise you. This is also hard. But this so far effective (most I can say). When you feeling sleepy and something or someone sergah2 you. I assure you definitely will not fall asleep after that. You can also ask a friend to massage your neck quite hardly not softly (the back, not the front. Karang mati, aku tak tangungjawab.3) . I helped me so why not?

6.            Pinch yourself as hard as you can. Most recommended at the tip of your finger, cause that is one of the places that have the most receptors. But if you bleed, don’t bother searching me. Haha.

7.            Last but not least, recite a taawuz and prayer (like a really sincere one, not just the usual routine one), before you start the lessons, or during you feel sleepy (and also an Istigfar to that, if you like.) to scare away all the Syaitaan and to ease your way through the class.

In A Mission,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : And, one more thing. Being sleepy and get to sleep is a gift. When I was little, I heard a story about an aunt to doesn’t feel sleepy, and doesn’t feel the need to sleep. Maybe she had some sort of illness perhaps? But, still pity her. Cause sleep completes our daily cycle of life. It’s there for a reason.

2nd P/S : My food went cold, while writing for you guys. You better pay for this. Huwaa. *cries*

Word reference :
1- Feeling sleepy.
2- Surprise you.
3- If you die, I will not be responsible for it.

The Girl in A Blanket

It's just so embarassing. TT.TT

To have someone you know reading your blog...

and...

know that it's you.

Okay, so here's the story of me, The Girl in A Hood becoming The Girl in Blanket.

One day, being the sneaky me (Urghh. I hate myself. Just kidding. :P ), sneak up from the back to 1 of roommates desk to just to look up and kacau1 her. Let's call her Roommate A. And at that time, A was writing something up for her blog. Seeing me in surprised, she deleted (I saw her padam everything that she wrote, like a few I think hard-written paragraphs), just because she saw me.  (I feel really sorry for her about that. At least she updated her blog anway, which made me a little relieved.)

So, after that, I stayed on lepak2 at her bed, and as a human, with the human-like curiosity, I was curious to know about her blog (since I just started to blog recently). Since she didn’t want to tell me about her blog (it’s your fault, my blog isn’t a secret anymore! *flaming eyes*), being the stupid me, I blurted out that I had a blog too.

So since I had a blog, and she had a blog, we decided to exchange address so both can read and to just be fair.

She gave her blog address first, as I kept on asking. I read it. And it was lovely. <3

And I was so so happy, I thought she kinda forgot about this whole blog thingy. But me. Being the stupid, just stupid me, bought the blog topic the other day on the bus. Huargh.

So I had to keep my promise.

Yes, guys (or actually girls).

I gave her my blog address.

I was so embarrassed that I covered myself in a blanket after that.

Cause the whole idea, of someone reading other’s blog, while knowing it’s you is nerve wrecking. It’s knowing you, but a different you.

So this is the story of the Girl in A Hood becoming the Girl in Blanket.

For now,
The Girl in A Blanket.

To A,

- I know you would read this.
- You have to know that I ‘sendiri’ don’t know why I blog about this. Weird me. Haha.
- I hope you forgive me talking about you.
- And most of all, thanks for being my roommate, I Love You. <3

We have 2 hearts.

Assalamualaikum. <3

We

Have

TWO

HEARTS

<3 <3

This is something that learnt today that I wanna share (actually yesterday), from my Bio Class. Today me and my classmates, finished learning  the topic of the Cardiovascular or Circulartory System. Yes, it about the heart.

We learnt about the heart. The heart inside us. The one that pumps blood in our body (Btw, did you know that in 1 minute the heart regularly pump 5 L of blood throughout our body?  And much more when we exercise.  It’s just like amazing. Just amazing, such an small thing can do. Ma Shaa Allah.) The one with the ventricles, artia, aorta, pulmonary veins, AV valve and so on.

I love Biology. But it can be tiring or boring or sleepy (which I do, if I don’t get my 7 hours sleep) to learn for a long period of time (speaking of time, was it about first 5 minutes I was sleepy this week. (Which I normally don’t. ) Sorry Sir. L ).

So I was ‘quite’ glad when we finished the topic. And as the lecturer start to talk something else on the slide.

Can you guess what is on the slide?

It was a verse from the Quran which is surah al-Ahzab : verse 4.

“Allah has not made for any man two heart within him…”

And I was surprised.

As I thought that we only had 1 heart.

And as you know (or may not), everything in the Quran related to Science, never been wrong. Not a single one. Na-uh.

But I was wrong. I forgot.

That we actually had 2 hearts. One that I wrote just know. And the other one, which is just as vital as the other one, which is our Spiritual Heart. I have been studying, thinking about the physical heart, that I forgot the other.

Our spiritual heart, the one control the things we do good, the things we do bad. The feelings that we feel.  We can’t see it. But we know it’s there.

And as our both hearts carry out their responsibility. Magnificently.  We, yes us have a great responsibility to take care of it too. Cause neither one should be sick.

That’s all for now, toodles! <3 Keep your heart in shape okay> *winks* (You know what I mean.)

First week coming back / the last semester in CFS IIUM Gambang.

So...
I'm too lazy pulak to update sbb dah update 2 post. Maybe esok lusa. Wakaka.

There's a lot to talk about.
Day by day.

Hope I can orgnize my thoughts before I forgot it all.

Sorry. :(

Chocolate : Hershey's. :)

Assalamualaikum. :)

So as yesterday I had usrah, my kakak Naqibah gave me and my usrahmate a gift, which is chocolate! (Well, I had expect it cause she's from Langkawi, and Langkawi is rich in chocolate.)

I.LOVE.CHOCOLATE.

I know some hate it, but bear with me. I just love it so much. So here's a picture of the chocolate.
(I'm trying to hold-unwrap-eat-everything-while I blogged, just to catch the feeling)

Btw, my naqibah said that we have to unwrap about 1 second (I believe 3), before it starts melting. (And I obviously fail in this department.) As our body temperature can easily melt the chocolate. So, a tip if you have a Hershey's chocolate, keep it in a refrigerator, okay? (I know, everyone knows, but  I just wanna say it anyway. Haha.)

So here it is, Bismillah. (Baca doa makan. ><)

The chocolate. I know dah kemik. Tapi yang penting yummy. :P

This is how the chocolate looks like. Somehow, I manage to unwrap it. Without it melting.

The wrapper. Gambar lepas dah makan. Haha.
Yes, it it a Hershey's Nugget Milk Chocolate with Almonds,
That is what it says on the wrapper.

So... How does it taste like? Yummy of course. Just like it's name. Milk chocolate with almonds (2 full almonds, not too small, not to big).

And, on the wrapper. It had a hot line number on it. Guess what it is for. Hrmm.

So that's all for know. So much for the chocolate review. Haha.

Grateful,
The Girl in A Hood.

Lesson learnt from this week's usrah : MuraqobatulLah

Assalamualaikum, everyone (or one. Like seriously ada ke yg baca blog ni? O.o )

Okay, so today In Shaa Allah, I'm going to do a double (or maybe triple) update! Yeay! As I promised I will be updating how's the first week in UIA Gambang went like (on the weekend, and it's already Sunday. So...), and then suddenly I have more ideas on what to post. So here it is.

Muroqobatullah (sorry if I spelled it wrong).

This is like a very very important New thing that I have learnt (I actually learn this in Ihsan, but it is not in a proper topic.)

If I'm not mistaken, it is spelled like 'Mim-Ra-Ba-Ta Mabutoh- and Allah' somewhat like that.

And it generally means to be closer to Allah. Mendekatkan diri dengan Allah. To be closer and closer to Allah.

And this is close related surah al-Baqarah : verse 284

" ..... Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it,
Allah will bring you account for it. ... "

From this verse we know that, Allah the All Mighty Lord knows everything, the ones we showed and the ones tat we hide. He knows. He sees. When we realise that Alah sees and knows our very action, our intention we become God-conscious. Which is a very good thing. Cause by that, we will tend to think that if our actions have the right to get His Blessings or not. whether He Likes it or not, whether He is Happy about it, whether He Loves or more or not, whether He will grant us pahala for it, whether He will grnt u Heaven for it. We will do only the good for Him, to be please Him. Ma Shaa Allah, such an easy thing to do that makes us do the good only, and avoid the bad.

Senang je. "Eh, Aku nak buat jahat. Allah nampak. Nanti dapat dosa. Nanti kena hukum. Ish ta nak buat dosa. ". As simple as that.

Think Allah as a Lover (our Lover). The one that loves us. and the one that we love. When we love as in someone, we will only do what he likes, avoid what he hates, we will miss him everyday if we hadn't see him, hadn't met him, if we see the things that he made, we will rember him, we will read the love letter from him, and we will also send endless love letter for him, also we will love him unconditionally. Being in love with Allah, is the greatest thing, we can have. To love Him, to be loved by Him. Even, if we are a stalker from afar, we will always try our best to know everything about him, to try to go near him as possible.

So that's pretty much I'd learnt from this week's usrah. This is just what I understood, so please if you don't undestand, cari orang yang lebih berilmu. I'm not an ustazah, but I'm trying to learn. So I hope you enjoyed, and learnt 1 or 2 from this.

Jazakillah khair.

Missing Him,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : Next week, kena share pasal surah al-Masad, Huhu. Pray for me that Allah gave the right knowledge,

Mood Republik YES Fest 2015. The Story. Part 1.

(Assalamualaikum. Sorry it's been a week since I last updated. Been busy with settling business matter and goig back to a new semester in this little Gambang Campus. Also, due to no Wifi this past few days. In Shaa Allah, I will update how's my first week coming back. For now, enjoy!)

Assalamualaikum, everyone!

How are you today?

Today I'm gonna talk about my visit to MoodRepublik KL YesFest 2015 at PWTC.

At first, I didn't get to go. Cause my family is busy. And no one wants to go. Duit dah pokai. >,<

But I manage to persuade my cousins (and also my aunt) to go (at one of my cousin's wedding. Barakallahu fih to her. May Allah bless your marriage. She's only 21 (also her husband), (and I'm 19, scary. Huwaa). Haha, just kidding.) Yippee!!! We are going to go shopping! *hands up in the air people*

Nah. I'm not that typical type of girl who's like crazy about shopping. I just wanted to find a blouse (my dad said that my clothes are too casual, and I always were the same colthes, well, there are downsides for not being a shopping maniac), a gift for my mother, and adik (sadly there are lack of options for clothes for a 12 year old teenager and my adik is so picky, so never mind. Wakaka. I'm so evil) also maybe a cardigan too (which I eventually bought. Haha), And the 2nd main purpose is to do a little background research on other brands, for my own upcoming brand. *another hands in the air*

The wedding was on Saturday 19. and the fest was available for 3 days (18-20 December 2015). So we went there on Sunday morning. I stayed at my aunt's house. She always made lovely food for me. Yum2. I had roti jala the next morning. Haha. What a luxurious life. I love her cooking. I really bet one of the amazing things in life is her cooking (and my dad's). And my fave cousin is on her holiday! So double Yippee. We had the girls night at my aunt;'s house. No gossip. It will make me feel bad. I really try to avoid against bad-mouthing someone. My cousin talked about her love life, and what mostly going on her life. I mostly gave my opinions and advices (I should have been a counselor. Lol. She said. Well, maybe? Who knows? :) ).

Wow. I have written so long. I always ended up writing longer than I intended. Huuu. Well, maybe a part 2? We even hadn't gone into the main topic. Lol. Silly me.

Next time maybe?

First time to 'Asrama".

Assalamualaikum. :)

So last Sunday (3rd January 2016) was the day, the first actual day my sister S goes to live at boarding school.

And it reminds me of my first time going to live at an 'asrama'.

My first boarding is school is SMKa Sharifah Rodziah (Sorry, if I spelled it wrong. Actually I'd only been there like 3 to 4 months before I got transferred to another school, SBPI Selandar). Going there the 1st day, I hadn't go straight to live at the asrama. I went on the next day. But one funny memory is that, my mom and I caused a slight accident on the first day. Where on the first day, a car hit my mother's car (or is it the other way around) at the front of the scholl entrance. But Alhamdulillah, no major harm done. Just a slight hit. But! At the assembly there's this one teacher that babble about how people got hurt and the right way to go throught the entrance. What makes me can't stand is that the teacher ask the student involved to stand up in front of the assembly. As I was a new kid, there's no way I'm gonna stand. It's embarrasing, and most probably no one gonna be my friend or so on. But, the good side is that not all teacher is that 'baik'. They're human too.

Meanwhile, what I remember at first moment I get my dorm is that, I get a lower bunk bed. And I love the place given. The place to place your toiletries. The schedule there. At what time do we have to wake up, 'lights out'. The senor-junior tradition. The evening and night prep. How to mandi 'berkemban'. How to manage yourself. The food. The environment. It's all so different from home. And I even remember getting my very first period there. I also remember how excited to finally go to a boarding school, until I could not sleep that night. It was the time that wanted to show off that I can be independent. Well, until now actually. So that's why I was so excited that I got to show off to my parents that I can live alone. Being there, had given me a lot of memories. The good and the bad.

It made me learn about life.

Thanks, Asrama.

A memoir.

New Year Resolution. Me?

Alhamdulillah.

Finally.

Yes, finally.

I got hold of my laptop!

So here's a post from me to you. :D

Assalamualaikum, btw.

Happy New Year (even though it's already 3rd Jan. Haha.)

Actually, I don't know what I should post about New Year, when it came (I'm still in daze, that's it's  already 2016. Haha.) So I didn't post anything on 1 Jan. Sorry. Even it's a resolution or whatever. I rarely have New Year Resolution (or was it never? Sorry, I forgot!). Cause I'm the type of person that don't have Goals. Oh no, it sounds bad. I have Goals, but it changes according to time, interest, situation and so on. (Now, it sounds much better.) I'm the kind of person, that make like small mini goals like every week (or every day). Like I should study for how many hours today, go exercise (which I never do), or how much I should score on my quiz. (If my business life, I plan goals like how many customers I should have in a week, how much my sale should reach, how many posts should I have post in my Instagram/FB Page and etc). Also, anothers like this week, I should have about 5 post on my blog, or I should spend less on food. That's why my goals are mostly flexible (so that I wouldn't want to be dissapointed in the end). I do have big goals like I should score a 4 flat for this semester, or my business should by this much by the end of (any month). I do have other goals in my social life, like I should be more sociable today, or I should listen to people more today, or even I should smile more today. In the religion aspect, I do have goals also as I want to become a good servant. (Oh boy, I do have a lot of goals. I just didn't realise. >< )

Anyway, (it's just my opinion), goals are suppose to make you happy about yourself, your life. Cause that what really matter. (But, don't do goals, that bring misery to others.) People should have goals, it makes life much more meaningful. But, please don't pressure yourself. Even, the result might not go as well as you have goaled. Just be happy, Be positive. There's always the Sun after the Moon (ada ke peribahasa ni?). There's always a turn out better than you thought. In Shaa Allah, just trust me on this okay?

Also, never do a goal without a plan. It's one of the stupidest thing one could do (If you didn't do a plan. I'm not calling you stupid. I's just a saying.). Make sure you plan out, so you could possibly achieve what you targeted, okay? And don't forget to put best effort you can. You can do it! Go go go!

Fighting!
The Girl in A Hood

P/S: I actually what to write something else, but it turn out this way, Still, I'm happy. :)
P/S No 2 : Fighting tu pengaruh korea ler tu. Haha.
P/S No 3 : Some of it may not be goals, but it makes improvement on my life.
P/S No 4 : Don't forget to reward yourself after you achieve your goal. It's the best part other than achieving the goal. :)
P/S No 5: Who writes withso many P/S?
