Wasting 3 days of my life.

I had my period of 29th and I attempt to break my routine by allowing myself to waste all the time I had (originally 2 days) for 3 days. By wasting I mean staying in bed all day and attempt of playing games.

The results? It was very not me. Super non-productive and all. I felt like this is all very useless, why even I wasting my time, playing games with goals that are not gonna benefit me in real life.

This was kinda a fail actually tbh. I ended up doing my online classes the second night and even on the first day I helped out with the business. Haha.

After the end of the days, honestly it's exciting getting back to my normal routine which before this attempt I think it was so stagnant. I realise it's not. Now I'm back trying to find time helping with the business & house, online classes, resting. Thinking back now I'm busy back.

Delayed entry, but who cares.

The surprise that made me cry.

Btw, it's less than 1 hour before my 23rd birthday! Hehe. Birthday post tomorrow!

Long story short, my family surprise me by coming down to Kuantan. I literally cried, you guys. It's the best gift ever. I know my father is not financially strong now plus his health too (it's worrying). The fact the he came despite that made burst into tears. Obviously, he would try his best to spoilt me with a birthday surprise (he insisted a few time to go out and celebrate). However, things were in my favour Alhamdulillah. Get to drive to the nearest super market, grab some ice cream & back to dinner at our cafe. So Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah, the cheapest option that I can offer. I'm happier this way! I'm very grateful Allah granted me my dua on this. I had such a fun time, just spending time with my family.

I made a video already about the title and I liked the results very much. Not bad for a first timer. I really badly want to post it here. But for privacy sake, I can't. Also, I did my own 2020 vision board + finish my readings! The last book I finished (I guess) for this year is about Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh. Reading that, tbh at the end I felt really low standard (I don't know the right words, so bear with me). It's not like when I see someone nowadays, and feel ashamed when I compared myself with their knowledge, piosity, ibadah. But this is different, Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh is way different league. Never leaving solat fardh, rawatib, tahajud. Ma Sha Allah. I also thought do I even value in the eyes of Allah. Like look at these people. The sahabah, tabi' tabi'in, the sufis. I probably at the worst of worst level still. Huu.

Still, nothing much else to say. Let's see what 23 things I can come up for tomorrow, alright?

May Allah make me a better person each day,

When Allah wants to show how our rezqi is meant for us.

So this is a story of a week and a half ago (I know I keep postpone my blog posts but let's set that aside. )

That weekend I was really productive I had volunteering work 2 days consecutively and some was back to back (that was just a divert from the topic).

Since finance is a bit tight now for my family, I'm always much more cautious of where my money go and this time I was worried about the transport.

I was working over the booth on my own because it was my shift but somehow I was alone. So.. I was thinking I have to pay for myself the grab fare because of course I would be too tired to walk back to the mahallah from the office of campus director which is on the other side of the campus. Still, I say Alhamdulillah that I still have money to pay & basically the previous grab fares were covered by the NGO.

But suddenly my friend came, turns out she had a solat break and of course she wants to go back together. So the fare is split to 2. Alhamdulillah.

Then while we were waiting for the grab (turns out the grab arrived earlier but another car was blocking so we didn't notice), another friend shows up wanting to go to the same direction. So now th fare is split into 3. Again, Alhamdulillah.

To end the story, the one who was in charge of the booth told me that she's covering the grab fare for us. So basically it's free! Ma Sha Allah. Again & again Alhamdulillah.

I didn't thought it would turn out that way. But certainly, it's a great reminder for me to always be grateful & trust Allah that our rezqi never wrong.

What is meant to be, is meant to be,

May Allah bless you dear stranger.

It was a week ago when this happens. My mom and I went to the CIMB bank branch where they got a bunch of atm, cdm, cheque deposit machines.. I was a little preoccupied with my paying my topup for my phone, I wasn't really took close detail of my surrounding.  Which I guess was destined to be.

So after that we went to go the market (or planning to) when my mom realise her purse is not in her handbag and another realisation hit her that she left it right on top of the atm machine!! Although, there was very little money, my mom panicked. Somehow I was calm. I was basically trying to finish my Ma'thurat recitation and somehow I thought her purse is probably still there. I also was preoccupied before that I should've more courage to give my small change to the poor person outside the bank but there were so many people around which made me shy to give in public.

When we reached the bank, I stayed in the car. My mom went out. It was until a few minutes later she didn't came back that it hit that perhaps it's true that someone may took her purse when she left it. She got back & I know from her face that her purse wasn't there. My mom asked my to recite the dua for things we had lost & recited it all the way home.

We got to our house, my mom went in first and found her purse right on the table!! Ma Sha Allah, turns out a minute before my mom and I arrive home, someone came to our house saying they found this purse left it and the bank and wondering if this is the right address (lucky my mom updated her identity card according to our latest home. I still haven't.) My brother who was at home just said it was <my mom's name> house, took the purse and said thank you. We complained a bit to him like really that's all you could've done?? At least ask for their name or number so we can thanked them properly. But, I guess Allah made them anonymous for a reason.

So stranger, thank you & best dua to you. Aamiin.

Pray my mom to not be forgetful too (and her daughter),

The box of mineral water: Funny story

Ramadhan Day 10: 20 days left :(

Welcome May, welcome Ramadhan!  I know it's my first update of the month, but who cares. *read in the howdy diggity voice* Haha.

Just a little update before we go into the story. This month, I manage to accompany my Abah to Terengganu (with lots of spills. opps), 2 days quick break at home with fam with nooo assignments (very grateful for this one) and meeting my counselor teacher for our last class (personal session which I learn much of my inner core is back on track & strength, full of positive vibes & happiness).

My finals starts tomorrow afternoon. Anddd I'm not fasting. I'm waiting for my fave instant noodles to be ready to eat. So that's the summary.

Going on to the story.

Last week, I bought a box of mineral water and of course, it's heavy. So I left it downstairs.

A few days after, I took 3 bottles of out it. But still leaving it there.

Another few days later, some of the bottles vanished (I think 2 bottles) & a RM 4 is in the box!

Someone bought my bottles of water without me wanting to sell it! At first, I was like oh no, it's not gonna be enough water for me to last. Thennn...

I look around & realised no single box of water (that used to be on each levels) are not there!

No wonder this person bought the water.

The whole situation occur to be funny to me. But hey, I gain a RM 4 without me planning it & I helped someone to quench perhaps their indescribable desire thirst for water.

Lesson learned: Sometimes you have to look around, and then you understand why. :)

But really, can I give back the RM 4, you can take this water anytime for free. XD

Nearly got into an accident.

One thing, I'm safe and unharmed. Alhamdulillah. Also my friend.

So the past Tuesday or is ot Wednesday? Wait. I've got to check my phone. Okay, it was Tuesday. Sorry for my brain. My best buddy asked me randomly asked to go out, to buy somethings but also kinda because she's craving to watch Maze Runner 3, where she also has asked out the before week, but we both didn't take the suggestion too seriously.

We were already walking back to the Mahallah, past the legendary staircase hill, which was kinda a waste we couldn've just grab an uber/grab at KOP. Haha. Still we went to ECM, bought some stationaries, and went to Korean place Dubuyo at KCM for the first time in many years (this should be a story by itself). While eating my friend came up with an idea to go to watch the movie which at Berjaya Mega Mall. So I suggest we should right after eating if she insist.

And yeah. We went crossing the roads and stuff. After the movie, we had to go back to the first mall (so basically we were going to one mall to another all day), cause my friend is a big fan of Big Apple, so we can't leave without it. Crossing the road in front of the mall is not the fanciest idea, so when we got there, the cars of the side are mid way to the green light. So I decided to wait. But my crazy friend said let's go. And she already started walking.

I walked the same. But in a split second the lights turn to green. So I was like run!!! The motorcycles are already moving, if I didn't suggest to run, we couldn've got into the accident. The vehicles was so nearby.

On the way back, I was thinking what if Allah didn't let me notice te green light. What would happened to my friend? What would happened to me?

I wasn't worried about myself. But I was worried about my family. What would they think of me? In an accident? My friend. Is she gonna get hurt too?

It was very dangerous, I don't want anyone to get hurt. And I thought Allah have better plans for saving me and my friend.

I still have a chance to live, to help, to be a better person.

Thank you.

It's when you in the brink of death, you remember.

Peas on my plate.

One thing about food. No matter how much I dislike the taste (except yang case yang tak boleh makan), I will still eat it anyway.

And one of those food are peas.

You know those little green ones. Usually in the three in one packet with its maties carrot and corn, sold in the supermarket.

Sadly, even though I kinda hate it, they will still appear in the common nasi, pasta and so on.

But I'm not the one whose shows they are picky with food in front of others, when taking food.

Don't get me wrong. I don't judge people who are picky with their food. But, if it's me. I wouldn't do it. And my children. Haha. Eat your veggies on your plate dearies!

And another reason is that my parents always told me to don't waste anything. So it kinda become a habit of eating everything on my plate (and someone's else, if you eating with me). And yeah. I hate the idea of precious food being waste.

Even though, I am so full. Just like yesterday, when me and my roommates went on eating at Manhattan Fish Market. I got joked around by my roommates saying I seriously looked like I was forced to eat it.

And pity them, they had to wait for me to finish it all. Funny thing is even though I'm a slow eater. But now, when I eat rice it's the same with the people with normal speed? Weird right?

Anyway, what's was I trying to blog about is that with the food that I don't really like.. I will always eat the hate stuff first. And eat the yummy stuff later.

Same as eating the bread loaf. I will tend to eat the sides first, before eating the middle part. As when I was a kid, I like the white part better.

While, eating  peas from the carbonara (or it is fettuccini pasta?. Idk the name.) I bought from the nasi arab stall at FZ cafe, I reminisce my little self (or in my other words. Termenung. My new hobby. ><).

When I was a kid, I thought by eating the stuffs I hate first. And better things will come later. And from that itself I thought about life. How I was being mocked, sometimes blackmailed by other people. And so on. And the thought I never told my parents those things. And how I back kick them with me being a good and clever student. And so on in life.

I had to suck up everything things that was hard for me. With no one I really (want?) to tell. And I survive throughout the process (just like eating things you don't like won't kill you). And things will get better In Shaa Allah.

As when I read Aisyah Syakirah's blog. Her friend said that all the bad things that been given to us is a sign of something much much better or you never expect in life.

And what she said is true. I've experienced it myself. Many times, to be told here.

If you are going through a hard. Cheer up, a good times will come. He is the Most Just, after all.

I never thought the little me, was so grown up.
The Girl in A Hood.

P/S: I'm on the way home cause I miss my family so much (and of course work too). I have a ton of other things to do. So pray for me to do well! Fighting!

Sit up straight

I had wanted to update my blog, since yesterday I found an interesting topic, but since I'm too occupied studying for my Physiology Quiz yesterday, I couldn't find the time. And since I found another topic I wanted to share, so maybe I will left my other topic to be forgotten.

Before, I start, how was my quiz today?
Answer: I so-so regret it. Nah. It was quite okay. #denial

Today's classes ended early at 3 (3.10 p.m to be exact), and the last class is tutorial class with Dr Kauthar. She taught us on Diffusion & Complexity (or is it Complexation, I forgot). Well, the 2nd topic I didn't get to study yet (yet how come I could have the time to update my blog? Priorities, dear). #tomorrowisthequiz #shortanswersthroughandthrough

In between teaching us on the parts we asked questions, she also gives us a 'Tazkirah Khamis' (the term came up by her). I have to say it is a good one, and I wanna re translate it down so I could always read it over and over. It would be a good reminder for you too perhaps.

What she said was (lebih kurang la):

When we feel sleepy, we should take coffee, ribena, milo & so on.
When we feel tired, we have to make us untired again.
When we are so busy, and not enough time, make time.
We should do our best.
Come to class, sit straight, don't slouch, look straight at the lecturer, write rigorously using the pen, and don't fall asleep.
Yes, we are sleepy.
Yes, we are tired.
Yes, we are busy.
But is it the reason to not do our best?
The answer is no.
I never hope you guys get all 80-90s marks, or all As. What I expect you to do is your best.
And as long as we are living in this world, and not here after, we should do our best.
God didn't said te world is easy. But did He said we couldn't make it easy?
No. Therefore, put effort in everything and do our best.
As long as we're living in this world.

Watch out for the stairs!

Yeay! Alhamdulillah, I'm finally back home, after the final exams. I miss home so much, I've been eager to turn to full business mode this week. :)

Writing this, I'd just finish my work of managing & packaging some restocks, and now sipping my Dutch Lady strawberry milk which I brought back home from UIA. #Iwassupposetohaveitthismorning #Atleastitscoldrightnow

So let's go on, to the story. And listen boys & girls, cause there will be a very important lesson you will learn after this. Haha.

Monday : The day I was writing my previous post in the library.

After I finished studying, and on the way back to my room...

LIFT IN MAINTENANCE *yellowdonotcrosslineseverywhere*

'Okay I always wanted to walk the stairs.' #likeIhaven't #haha

1st step,
2nd step,
well then the 3rd, 4th, 5th & I don't know which steps down from the 1st floor

*sawtherelectioninthenotsoreflectivemirror*

'Oh my tudung is stuck in my beg. Better fix it.'

Which is a good idea, cause then, #mymilkjustfinish #stillbitingonthestrawforlasthope

*steppingovermyjubah* Bam!

"Aduh!" While rubbing my hands to my knee, and looking left and right hoping nobody saw it.  #Iwastooembarrased #luckilynobodyisthere

Trying to step up, 'Ouch!! My ankle hurts. Better check it.' #causeI'llbewalikngtothemahallah

'Okay it's seems fine. And it doesn't hurt that bad.' I said to myself, while I was sitting on the sofa at the Ground Floor.

Walking back to the Mahallah, Alhamdulillah it didn't hurt.

But then,

according to my schedule, I have to go to work at a Printing Shop at UIA at 6 p.m, so then I was stepping out of my room, the fire alarm rang.

'Damn it.'

Cause I know I will be walking down the stairs from the 9th level to the bottom, to arrive waork on time. #ivechecked #liftnotworking

I didn't hurt. Alhamdulillah.

But during my break where I go back for maghrib prayer in my room,

*walkingtomyroom* *terpeliottiba-tiba*

Okay, it hurts.

Then, continue to walk like nothing had happened to my room.

Did it stop there?

The answer is : No.

Friday : The last day of my exams

I tripped (well, falling too to be exact), as i skip a stair, while I was walking for the examination hall for my exams.

And what was I doing?

Searching for my things in my bag, while walking down the stairs.

While, it seem to be recovering, I gave the poison more.

Lesson learnt : Walk the stairs safely. Look straight ahead. Don't be distracted. You never know what it might do to you. #maybethereshouldberulestooforwalkingonstairs #notjustdrivingrules

Feeling ridiculous,
The Girl in The Hood

Italic : Head voice

P/S: I ate butter rice again. The rice was better than the first, but the sauce still meh. #istillloveyoukakakcafe #iamstillyourloyalcustomer #causeihavenowhereelsetoeat
The pasta and nasi arab are still lovely though, so anyone that came to FZ's cafe, do buy their pasta. :)

My interview experience. Part 2.

I was thinking I better write it fast before I start to forget.

So here it is :

On that day, after the briefing session, I went back to my room as my interview session was schedule for the afternoon.

So about 9 until 11, I decided to sleep as the night before, I slept late. Not knowing this, nearly made me got trouble. So after I woke up at 11, I started to get ready and ironed my clothes once again so that I got the extra edgey neat look, I thought of going there at 12, eventhough the afternoon session starts at 2, and I was the last person, so I estimated maybe around 4, I will get interviewed, Better early than punctual.

So that's what I thought.

Just when I was ironing my clothes, my roommate A told me that she recieved a WhatsApp saying that all afternoon session have to be there at 11 precise.

Damn it! My head screamed.

So I hurried to call my friend who was scheduled the same group and session with me.

She didn't answer.

I was quite scared, worried that it will affect my interview results if I'm late.

Luckily, she called me back and I asked her she said there were no attendance yet taken, and they were morning session hasn't done yet, so no worries.

Alhamdulillah.

Lesson learnt : Never sleep on the day of your interview. You never know when bad luck wanna past by.

Part 3?
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : In the end, our session did start on 2, and we even manage to eat and solah during the time being.

Dissapointed.

So guess what's the reason now I didn't update?

As I said that my lappy does not want to connect to IIUM's Wifi, I used my own data. And guess what? It was like 20 hours per day no signal. Huwaa. How I'm suppose to connect to the Internet??

But still Alhamdulillah, it's back on right now.

So back to the topic.

Dissapointed. Yes.

I was very busy since Friday until Monday with FRC's Programme. Some of the units have their most-busy-time during the programme, but for me, my not-so-busy-time is during the programme, cause before and after that, I'm busy buzzing off setteling the reciepts and fiacial work of the society. But still, I still have to look busy during the programme as if not, some will think I'm not doing any work. Like what?? Do you actually know my work? *firey eyes*

So last Sunday, after the first session of Ibadah camp is setteled, along with the post-mortem meeting and meeting for the upcoming programme, my kakak Naqibah from IIUM Kuantan decided to come for our usrah, and it's been like a month since we met her and being in usrah. I obviously miss being in usrah. TT.TT

At first, my Naqibah, kak M said the the guards wouldn't let her go up our building, so we had to go down to meet her up and the cafe below. And for sure, I was late due to tunggu+lambat buka WhatsApp+ tkr baju.

Then after that, meeting her and my other usrahmates with a little chitchat as usual, we started our usrah.,.

A few moments later...
After we finished our recitation of the Qur'an.

And not yet, get into the tadabbur, like during the translation recitation one of the akak guards said that she had to go. In my mind, I was like what? Seriously what? Did we do anything wrong??

And my kak M said give her 5 minutes before she goes.

The atmosphere changed, but we still continue a little tadabbur although quite gloomy.

It was just like 1 point, and wrapped up. And she started packing to go.

Which breaks my heart.

When then, a abang guard came and like scold her for not leaving.

I was like "Hey bro, she IS leaving, are you blind? No needd to scold her in front of public. Some courtesy please. "

Which was only stuck in my mind.

Kak M said to him "I'm levaing as promised, But can I salam my adiks before I go?"

#thisisseriouslybreakingmyheart

He was like "You may. But please go quickly." (Maybe he calm down a bit after scolding.)

After the whole breaking heart process, (we was like comforting kak M it is okay, and she did the same. we were like okay, she drove like an hour from Kuantan, and despite her tight schedule as a soon-to-be-doctor, she still came. so triple respect okay?) the reason why IIUM security becames strict from my friend aka usrahmate N. N told us that not long ago, within this month I guess? That a student of CFS join an outside programme, and something went a little wrong and the student called him/her parents which then led to them almost sueing IIUM.

So here's the lessons :

1st lesson : Allah knows. Allah sees. Do it for the sake of you yourself and Him. Don't care of what other's talk, if you know you are right (and you actually are).

2nd lesson : Sometimes doing good has it's own challenges. So have courage and be brave.

3rd lesson : For those after-schoolers and still below 20, and already 20, please mature a bit, okay? Don't be like pandai2 sendiri, then something berlaku call parents. You already at least 18, so please. You get something wrong, be responsible for it. Don't cause others to suffer along because of you.

4th lesson : For the parents, or soon to be parents, don't be overprotective, the child is already 18, let them mature and grow up, You have already get to fully guide them for 18 years, so let them mature a bit with their own decision. They're not going to have you for the rest of their lives (sadly speaking.) And don't blame others first if something goes wrong, search the cause find the best solution. I know you love your child like nothing else in the world, but show the love in the best way okay?

So how's is the next usrah gonna be.
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : Just so you know, I don't blame IIUM for the actions taken. They are doing their best in taking care of us from trouble, and are in the middle between parental pressure and the pressure of complaints from us. But can you give us a little space, at least give 1 hour before you shoo someone off. Hrmm?

It's too late ; Part 1.

I.AM.SO.DUMB.

Literally guys, I mean literally.

So…

I have a story to tell. I know people like hearing stories. But not experiencing one (the bad ones).

Here I am at Gambang. Yesterday. (8th of Feb 2016, Monday) #missinghome

And I couple of stupid incidents happened.

So here is the story. (Haha.)

I was in the bus from Bangi to Gambang. At first at was alone, at the Kajang station. Just me and the driver. In a bus. The thought scared me a little. But I put faith in Allah.  (Guess not many rides a bus during a Chinese New Year holiday. So, girls anything beware.) Alhamdulillah, we arrived at the TBs station (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan I guess? Haha), and a few more rode the bus. It only occupied half of the bus.

So the journey went on, and as the minutes goes by. We came nearer and nearer to our destination. And a little bit info, my bus usually stops at both UMP bus stop and TSK (Terminal Sentral Kuantan (usually okay usually not always now I guess). And in the bus, I was running working very hard in building the kingdom up in the sky (take the literature meaning), and wondering when we will arrive (which was already 6 fifteen that time which mean we are supposed to be shortly) while trying to concentrate on not puking (I have kinda like mabuk jln. Huhu.) and concentrating in memorizing my Bio Notes.

A few while later, around 6 thirty, I look up at the window and saw ‘Gambang 500m’, my heart leaped with joy knowing we will arriving soon, and earlier than usual (usually we arrive around 7 plus plus). Happy knowing that I will no longer sooner arrive, I started keeping my belongings in my bag, preparing to be delivered of.

A.few.moments.later….

‘Aren’t we supposed to arrive yet?’ my mind thought. ‘Oh well, maybe I calculated wrongly.

Another few moments later…

‘Something’s not right. We’re supposed to be way pass Gambang’s tol by now.’ As my heart was starting to get worrying, my head spin to the left and right, looking out through the windows of the bus. When just then, I saw from the other side of the road (which was the opposite direction from us).
I saw Gambang 17 km.

Guys. My bus just went heading straight to the Kuantan’s tol instead of heading to Gambang’s tol, which leads to the UMP bus stop. My place where I wanna stop. Huwaa. *cries in pool*

And the journey went on straight to TSK. No turing back now.

It's too late.

Couldn’t get any worse? Wait until part 2.

I should have remind the driver,

The Girl in A Hood.

Cinderella vs Khaulah al-Azwar : Talk Recap.

Assalamualaikum, wrb.

How’s everyone today? Hope everyone is feeling well Alhamdulillah. J

So today, I’m gonna do a little bit of recap from a talk I listen to last Friday noon.

It’s about Cinderella vs Khaulah a-Azwar.

Seems pretty interesting don’t you think? It is interesting for me. As both are pretty famous. I’m sure. And both are people that I had hear about. So here’s a little bit of a recap regarding the topic. (It may be not much of a recap. Just a sharing of what I heard.)

Enjoy!

So…
Cinderella. Who doesn’t know about her right? And I think among the fairy tales I knew which Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Jack & the Beanstalk (Btw, does Beauty and the Beast count? Cause it kinda confuse me, if whether it is a really a fairytale or just a Disney movie. So does Ariel and Aladdin.), Cinderella is the most popular one. Not to mention, it also has many versions of it.

About Khaulah al-Azwar, she’s kinda famous too. I guess. Cause I actually heard about her. (If you someone I never heard of. You probably are not famous. Haha. Just kidding.) But still I only know a glimpse of her life. So for those who doesn’t know, Khaulah al-Azwar is a girl, just like Cinderella. She’s born at 7 Masihi and live around the time of sahabah. And one thing she’s famous is that she good a combat. She’s a very skilled fighter. Very very skilled. She knows how to ride the horse, she knows how to use the blade. She’s very good at fighting, Until  at the war with the Roms (if I’m not mistaken), when she’s there to fought and retrieve her brother who’s has been captured by the enemies. The other soldiers thought that she was Khalid Al-Walid. Khalid Al-Walid is a sahabat, a guy, and a guy who’s very skilled on combat. So here’s a little bit background info about her, you could search more about her on the Internet (and reliable one, dari kita yang ingat2 lupa ni1. TT.TT).

So we’re talking about versus right? So it is a must that we compared between them.

So here’s the similarities.
Both are smart.
Both are noble hearted.
Both are kind.
Both are courageous.
Talking about kindness and courage, both  are very important to us to be a better person. Cause if we have kindness but don’t have courage, people will not look upon us. We will be easy dirrespected. And if we have courage but no kindness, we will be the one that are dirrespectful, ignorant, and so on. Thus, both are important.

How about the differences?
Here it is. J I put it in a table.
Cinderella
Khaulah al-Azwar
Save by Prince Charming
Save people for the sake of Allah
Waiting for Prince Charming to rescue
Being the ‘Prince Charming’ and rescues others
Fantasy
Real

I think you can do the explanation on the comparison, yourselves.
And I have 1 more last question for you to think.
Who should be our role model?

 Hope this bring benefit,
The Girl in A Hood

We have 2 hearts.

Assalamualaikum. <3

We

Have

TWO

HEARTS

This is something that learnt today that I wanna share (actually yesterday), from my Bio Class. Today me and my classmates, finished learning  the topic of the Cardiovascular or Circulartory System. Yes, it about the heart.

We learnt about the heart. The heart inside us. The one that pumps blood in our body (Btw, did you know that in 1 minute the heart regularly pump 5 L of blood throughout our body?  And much more when we exercise.  It’s just like amazing. Just amazing, such an small thing can do. Ma Shaa Allah.) The one with the ventricles, artia, aorta, pulmonary veins, AV valve and so on.

I love Biology. But it can be tiring or boring or sleepy (which I do, if I don’t get my 7 hours sleep) to learn for a long period of time (speaking of time, was it about first 5 minutes I was sleepy this week. (Which I normally don’t. ) Sorry Sir. L ).

So I was ‘quite’ glad when we finished the topic. And as the lecturer start to talk something else on the slide.

Can you guess what is on the slide?

It was a verse from the Quran which is surah al-Ahzab : verse 4.

“Allah has not made for any man two heart within him…”

And I was surprised.

As I thought that we only had 1 heart.

And as you know (or may not), everything in the Quran related to Science, never been wrong. Not a single one. Na-uh.

But I was wrong. I forgot.

That we actually had 2 hearts. One that I wrote just know. And the other one, which is just as vital as the other one, which is our Spiritual Heart. I have been studying, thinking about the physical heart, that I forgot the other.

Our spiritual heart, the one control the things we do good, the things we do bad. The feelings that we feel.  We can’t see it. But we know it’s there.

And as our both hearts carry out their responsibility. Magnificently.  We, yes us have a great responsibility to take care of it too. Cause neither one should be sick.

That’s all for now, toodles! <3 Keep your heart in shape okay> *winks* (You know what I mean.)

Lesson learnt from this week's usrah : MuraqobatulLah

Assalamualaikum, everyone (or one. Like seriously ada ke yg baca blog ni? O.o )

Okay, so today In Shaa Allah, I'm going to do a double (or maybe triple) update! Yeay! As I promised I will be updating how's the first week in UIA Gambang went like (on the weekend, and it's already Sunday. So...), and then suddenly I have more ideas on what to post. So here it is.

Muroqobatullah (sorry if I spelled it wrong).

This is like a very very important New thing that I have learnt (I actually learn this in Ihsan, but it is not in a proper topic.)

If I'm not mistaken, it is spelled like 'Mim-Ra-Ba-Ta Mabutoh- and Allah' somewhat like that.

And it generally means to be closer to Allah. Mendekatkan diri dengan Allah. To be closer and closer to Allah.

And this is close related surah al-Baqarah : verse 284

" ..... Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it,
Allah will bring you account for it. ... "

From this verse we know that, Allah the All Mighty Lord knows everything, the ones we showed and the ones tat we hide. He knows. He sees. When we realise that Alah sees and knows our very action, our intention we become God-conscious. Which is a very good thing. Cause by that, we will tend to think that if our actions have the right to get His Blessings or not. whether He Likes it or not, whether He is Happy about it, whether He Loves or more or not, whether He will grant us pahala for it, whether He will grnt u Heaven for it. We will do only the good for Him, to be please Him. Ma Shaa Allah, such an easy thing to do that makes us do the good only, and avoid the bad.

Senang je. "Eh, Aku nak buat jahat. Allah nampak. Nanti dapat dosa. Nanti kena hukum. Ish ta nak buat dosa. ". As simple as that.

Think Allah as a Lover (our Lover). The one that loves us. and the one that we love. When we love as in someone, we will only do what he likes, avoid what he hates, we will miss him everyday if we hadn't see him, hadn't met him, if we see the things that he made, we will rember him, we will read the love letter from him, and we will also send endless love letter for him, also we will love him unconditionally. Being in love with Allah, is the greatest thing, we can have. To love Him, to be loved by Him. Even, if we are a stalker from afar, we will always try our best to know everything about him, to try to go near him as possible.

So that's pretty much I'd learnt from this week's usrah. This is just what I understood, so please if you don't undestand, cari orang yang lebih berilmu. I'm not an ustazah, but I'm trying to learn. So I hope you enjoyed, and learnt 1 or 2 from this.

Jazakillah khair.

Missing Him,
The Girl in A Hood
