MockingJay?

1.31 p.m, at my room in UIA Kuantan. Sbb kls cancel (2 days in a row).

Today, I’ve just watched MockingJay Part 1, for the first time.
It’s been 1 year and a half (more) since I watched glimpse of the movie.
And It was during 1st year 3rd semester in foundation, from my senior roommate.
I always wanted to watched fully the movie, but been lazy to ask ever since.
If only I copied during that time, I would have watched it several times by now, and get my adiks to watch it too (as they were asking too).
How time flies by.
No one gonna push you forward to do it now, if not only you yourself.
Here’s the short update, to my only reader. Haha. Hope you enjoyed it. J
It’s been a while,

P/S: I only watch it for 10 minutes, then tgh tulis ni dah azan zohor. Chaw~

I made a dish!

Haaa. The title said it all.

It's been a few days since holiday started, and I'm putting on my LAZY GILER mode on. Haha.

So I cooked today, ayam masak paprik. Saje...

My mom suruh jadi ni tu ni tu. Oh boy, I'm gonna be so busy this holiday.

And for the ayam, my dad gave me an instant perencah, yg tak perlu tumis ke ape, thanks Abah! (but seriously kills my cooking mode.... Baru nak tunjuk skill. Huwek.)

And then, tadi just now my mom ask who cooked, I said it was me..

And...

she asked "Did you fried the chicken?"

"Nope. Rebus je. "

Haha. Feeling guilty, I said "Lesss oil maaa~~"

Typical lazy.

My interview experience. Part 2.

I was thinking I better write it fast before I start to forget.

So here it is :

On that day, after the briefing session, I went back to my room as my interview session was schedule for the afternoon.

So about 9 until 11, I decided to sleep as the night before, I slept late. Not knowing this, nearly made me got trouble. So after I woke up at 11, I started to get ready and ironed my clothes once again so that I got the extra edgey neat look, I thought of going there at 12, eventhough the afternoon session starts at 2, and I was the last person, so I estimated maybe around 4, I will get interviewed, Better early than punctual.

So that's what I thought.

Just when I was ironing my clothes, my roommate A told me that she recieved a WhatsApp saying that all afternoon session have to be there at 11 precise.

Damn it! My head screamed.

So I hurried to call my friend who was scheduled the same group and session with me.

She didn't answer.

I was quite scared, worried that it will affect my interview results if I'm late.

Luckily, she called me back and I asked her she said there were no attendance yet taken, and they were morning session hasn't done yet, so no worries.

Alhamdulillah.

Lesson learnt : Never sleep on the day of your interview. You never know when bad luck wanna past by.

P/S : In the end, our session did start on 2, and we even manage to eat and solah during the time being.

So proud. :)

My adik, H is on the newspaper guys!!

Omo. I'm so proud.

Like 3/4 of the page is about him.

And his face is all over it.

He got into news for being a young writer who have fans all over the world. (#soproud #unlikeme #seriouslydoesanyonereadmywritings? #younowknowwheremywritingtalentwalkoff #justkidding)
(I'm gonna give pictures and links soon.)

It like Wednesday ago. I was so eager on writing that very day, but I couldn't since FRC organized a taalim which is Daebak!

The support was tremendous until we need to fetch several more chairs as there were not enough room to sit. Well.. The speaker is a famous person (Shukery somtin2, penulis tarbiyah sentap.)

His talk.. Is kinda catchy for adolescence like us, he made a lot of jokes but still the knowledge still be presented.

The talk was about Love. Aha, you're right, so that's why we got a lot of students coming down despite Thursday was the interview day for Medic.

And for the today, I just wanna cry buckets after finishing presenting EAW, and my Bio 2 Test 2.

I'm so gonna be dead,
The Girl in A Hood.

P/S : Tomorrow, there's the 2nd session for Ibadah camp. I felt so bersalah cause lambat buka WhatsApp utk susun kerusi. I'm so sorry guys. TT.TT

Interview Pharmacy Degree UIA : Part 1.

Hashtag #relieved.

Alhamdulillah. I'd done it guys! I'd finally pass the interview session. (Still, we don't know the results so... #krik2)

For me...
Mine was not bad, but not good either.
Still a have little regret of it.
But still really grateful for not having a break down during the interview. Haha.

So here are some tips and tricks + experience (mine) for those who are going for an interview at UIA especially Pharmacy.

I'm going to talk about my experience first (plus the tips along the way).

2-3 weeks (or is it a month?) before the interview, if I'm not mistaken early March, we were required to attend a briefing given by our study advisor, regarding the interview of our course. Mostly regrading, the CGPA pointer and exchange of courses in UIA.

To take a Pharmacy degree in UIA, you must at least score a 3.50 to get the interview. Lower, than that, you are required to take a second application for Allied Health Science for backup if you didn't get into Pharmacy's course.

But sometimes, even you have a pointer below than 3, you may still get the opportunity for the interview, (it depends of the Faculty's decision).

And if you want to change for example to Medic and Dentistry, you must have at a CGPA of 3.75, but this is still due to the decision of the Admission department of the respective course, if they have availability and etc.

You can also change to other courses, but still there are certain procedures to be taken.

This interview is very very important, as even you have a good result in your CFS, you still may fail to get the course you want if you fail the interview.

So please be prepared, if it's something you really really want.

Plus, not all in UIA have a compulsory interview, which is as far as I know, Medic, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Allied Health Science have an interview. Biosciences and Physical Science doesn't have an interview.

After that, I started researching about most related pharmaceutical issues and etc.

The day before (yesterday), I went to my classmate's room which is going to take the same course as I am (tu pon lepas dah kacau roommate sendiri (yg semuanya medic) untuk help preparing my interview. Mian~~) .

We discuss the possible questions ask and all (which I will list down later)

So the next day...

At 8 o'clock we had to gather for a briefing of introduction of our panels, which are a total of 10, We were divided into 5 groups. So 2 interviewer for each group. It was an individual interview where we face 2 interviewer : 1 students. According to the name list, we had 24 students per each group, so we had a total of 120 students applying for the course.

There were some students (around 15-20, I guess) for other courses in PJ which were either invited (I'm not quite sure of this, as I really didn''t remember to ask them) or managed to apply for the Pharmacy course.

But the one thing, I pity them, coz most of them had never been to Gambang, so it is a little worrisome for them, coz they don't really actually know the venue of the interview.
Anyway, I think they did just fine. :)

We also had 2 session, the morning and afternoon session.

I got the afternoon session. Alhamdulillah. (I'm the last one. Haha.)

And...

Me. Being me, something did happened today, the day of interview.

To be continue..
(I promise this time. That is I will write the Part 2.)

Never been so relieved,

The Girl in A Hood.

Am I a Keyboard Warrior?

Guess what?
I didn't have my presentation last Friday.
So skrg jadi penunggu terhormat bila2 je turn presentation. Haha.

And at the same Friday FRC had organized a taalim titled 'Am I a keyboard warrior?'.
It was very interesting, I had to admit, the speaker present to us many new things to us.
It was a shame, that I didn't hear the first part of the talk, as I was helping at the back potong-kek-pisang-yang-extra-manis. But still glad I helped out.

This are some of the things that I managed to learn :

Cybertroopers - people that support one side of a story (usually paid to do so)

Macai - defend others/issue although does not know anything about the people/issue

Ghosttroppers - the 'ghost' in the cyber world

(Addition, from student. Stalker - someones who stalks other. Haha. Btw, Friendster has this feature that can detect who stalks you.)

Don't do a split personality between the real & virtual world. Be yourself but be cautious in anything you do online.

Think before you post or share.

How fake tweet is done <- search this yourself, but don't do it.

Related Quranic verses - al-Hujeraat : 6, ar-Ruum : 41, Qaf : 18.

Sorry for the terrible retelling, I merely wrote back my notes. TT.TT #lazy

Btw, I have an interview for my upcoming kuliah-to-be (Pharmacy) which is tomorrow.  And serious talk here, only 1 % preparation for it.

What I am doing here?
The Girl in A Hood

P/S : It is my little sister S's birthday, she's turning 13 already. Huwaa. A big girl. My family (except me, cause I'm stucked in Gambang for at least another month) visited her at her boarding school to celebrate her birthday. Aww, how much I miss them. They called me, and I remember that at the end of the call, my dad was like 'we love you' and my mom and adiks was like ramai2 'we love you' kat blkg. #macammanatakrindu TT.TT
