I'm finally writing on my laptop. A tuesday, where I'm taking the day off. My room looks much better! Hehe.
It was a hurry Eid this year. I guess Malaysian wasn't prepared for Eid yet. Haha. Lucky my family prepared a bit. Had a morning Eid drama, we were not as early as she wanted us to. Anyhow, everything else was quite sail smoothing (?). Went to Perak for Eid. Slept at Ani's house. I told already my father the hotels, motels, homestays are fully booked but he still went his way to find in the middle of the night. I remember feeling pity at that time. I initially was okay with sleeping at Ani's house but hearing my brother's sulking, I remind myself of the statues and all sort of prayer things in her house. The feeling? Not quite comfortable. Ani's sweet and I love her. In the end, I glad we slept at her house.
Second day, still in Perak. Even went to my dad's school mate house and aunty N's house. Oh boy, the signage near her house said kubur and the name of the place of the same sort. Funny but insaf-ing. Huhu. Thank Allah the mosque is just beside her house. XD Had octupos shaped sausage which my fam loved. Hehe. And the night? We arrived in time at Seremban (with a quick stop at Bangi). Funny too that we came to Bangi to pick up a box that our cousin ordered to pass to her, (which we did gave) but she ended leaving it in Seremban so she had to come to Bangi too. XD Also, we learn about making a quick stop in to our home during the journey, still counts as musafir.
Third day, at home. Receving all the guests. Glad everyone came at 3 to 4 ish. There was still like food for 2 family in the end btw. Fourth day, raya around. Honestly, my social battery was depleted. Fifth day, work day plus scrambling my pa job. First pre-day job? Ironing the brides' clothes. Ahaha. Meeting with everyone which is so nicee. And my secret hope of wearing henna. Yup, I got it. I also massage the bride. I got home at near 1 that day.
Saturday morning, I came around 6.25 at the brides's house. I woke up at 5.30. >< F was getting her making at the time. Then, fast forward photoshooting, getting in the same car. Then, the akad. But the climax oh boy, the very noon where the hall was jam packed! I already had guess that her parents underestimate the crowd. Huhu. The couple went down at 12.30. I was there every single way of preparing and taking care of the couple. Lucky I got kitkat and water for them as they definitely could not squeeze breakfast. And the second bottle during the evening photoshoot. F was without specs, but she had U along the way, so I don't have that much job. Ooo. They had tea ceremony, ang pau and chinese translator. Hehe. The bride even ate 2 times. Haha. So chill. Lucky I manage to eat the kuih raya. Weirdly I was not super tired that day and I'm glad I helped with the wedding despite my lacking. It was an experience I'm grateful for.
7th day of Eid, Sunday, do nothing day. Andd that's it.
The first week of Syawal,
