Farewell 2015.

Okay.

So 2016 coming, and 2015 is ending...

A new page for a new chapter. Of a story of our life.

Everyone's story is unique, different from one another.

That's why we're human.

Again, Farewell. :)

I went to school!

Assalamualaikum.

Just a short update on today.

As a the title has said..

I went to school! Haha.

It's not like I went to school2, to study. I just went the visit. Not my school, it's my mothers. My mum is a teacher btw. She went to finish some of her school business. Well, school is starting next week. So there's a lot of jobs a teacher has to do. Oh boy. If I ever started what a teacher has to do, I might not be be able to end this update short.

But going there, reminds me of my school (I went to study in a lot of school btw. I got transfered a lot). When I visited the school hall today (actually peering the school hall, through the door's window), I saw the stage, the doors, the floor, the curtains and the ceiling, and it reminds me of my times in the school assembly (where I remember a lot of my friends usually slept during that period). The teachers annoucements and 'bebelan penuh kasih sayang', where I got some of my school rewards. When sometimes, I was the one that doze off. Where we sang the national anthem, the school song, and the Asmaul Husna. Where we had to line up properly and all.

And after that, I went to fetched some items with my mother, near the the teachers' room. And it reminds me of the time of me going to the teachers' room (which I rarely go). It reminds me of my teachers. After all the visit (actually not much of a visit, just a small stop by), made me remind of my school. And how I actually miss school (and my friends).

Do you miss your school? If not, try visit a school, and you will feel nostalgic as the memories comes by.

Missing my school,
The Girl in A Hood.

P/S : I guess is not a short update after all. >.<

Simple Act of Kindness.

Assalamualaikum, everyone! :)

Today, I'm gonna continue a little bit of my story from 26 Disember (Here's the link if you want to read it! :) )  I actually have much more to talk about my life and life itself. But I keep forgetting what I want to write, when I want to write it. :(

So today's blog can be said the [3rd lesson learnt] from that day. This is a sweet story, just so you know. :)

So as I was talking, on 26 Disember 2015, me and my 'adiks' went iceskating, And as I was iceskating and talking with my little sister. A little someone came up to me? Can you guess? Nah.. It's not a special someone (I believe that I will wait for that 'special someone', and only accept that person only if 'he' do it the respected way. Where he respect my wali. *ialwaysdreamtofit* #girlsdream ).

It was just a little kid that came up to me. (You can imagine a little cute Malay boy around 5 years old). And the best thing that he came up to me with like sorta a medium size (kinda like the size of a tennis ball I perhaps?) snow ball in his hands. As a little kid, the snow ball was kinda handful in his tiny hands. What made it so sweet is that he came up in front of me and nudge the snow ball towards me like he really want me to have it (In my age, when I was a kid, If I had a snowball, which was a thing, I really want. And if I got it I wouldn't want anyone to have it, except the one I love the most. Ish3. Nmpk tak kedekutnya disitu. Islam tak ajar ye. In Islam, we are taught to give the item that we love the most to someone else. In return, we know (and believe) that Allah will give something better than that. In Shaa Allah. It's only up to us to believe and have faith in Him).

So, as he really want to gave it to me, I whole-heartedly accepted it with joy and a smile. :) (I'm still smiling now. It's just so sweet. I cannot. ><) And, he (the kid) also left with a smile.

So here's the little lesson I learnt. In life, even the simplest kind of kindness and gift can make someone happy. Just like what Islam has taught us. Which is sedeqah. There is one story about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) where he had a (sebijik ape dalam English? Haha.) tamar. And as you know, if you ever fasted only just have a tamar to break your fast. I bet you would have it all by yourself. And guess what? Did Rasulullah, our beloved Prophet have it all by himself even if someone ask for it? Nope, he didn't. When, someone ask for some food, he gave half of the whole tamar. And when he was ask again, he halves it again leaving him a quarter. Which is not much. But guess what? Even, with a quarter of the tamar to break his fast. It was enough. And made him happy. (I really apologise. If this story was somewhat inaccurate. I just retold what I remember in my mind. Again, sorry. I'm just a creation, not the All- Mighty creator. Also, if you are surely kind, correct me my wrongs. Jazakillah khair. )(And yes, fasting is much more than 'menahan' hunger and thirst, You know it when you try it! :) )

So let's start today, do a simple act of kindness. Even it's not much. I'm sure it will spread happiness to the world.

A picture of me and the kid?
Sorry for the bad drawing. ;(

Happy me,
The Girl in A Hood

P/S: After the kid left, I gave it to my sister in hope that she would be happy. But she just smashed it to the ground (the ice rink). TT.TT

Second P/S: May Allah grant happiness and blessings for those who read. Again, Jazakillah khair for reading. <3

I forgot today was Sunday!

Assalamualaikum , lovelies! *love.love.love <3 *

Just like my title has stated, I forgot today was Sunday. Haha. I thought today was Monday.
I woke up late today (at 2 wakakaka I’m so dead if my parents knew *gunshots*), ice skating always has drained most of my energy out of me.  And today (as I thought was Monday), I had to prepare packaging and delivering my customers orders to the post office (It’s a lot of work, you know).

So, when I woke up, I hurried to grab lunch (well, I already missed my breakfast) and grab nasi briyani with lauk ayam (it looks like ayam masak kicap, but doesn’t taste exactly like one, in a good way).  And watched tv while eating, Victorious(the Malay dubbed version at TV 9) was on. And oh man, it was booorrring, the Malay dubbed made it worse, I always prefer the English and original version better for cartoons and movie (except Korean, dubbed Mandarin dramas doesn’t made much difference to me). So then, after a few mouthful (actually suap) of rice, I then go to watched Running Man with my sister S at the computer, it was episode 254 or something if I’m not mistaken, an episode where there’s a special ‘fan’ they have to search for to win in the end (which was actually Suk Jin’s son. It was so sweet, I think. For a son/daughter to be your biggest fan of you. J ) It was a special episode  with 2 pm (Korean artis and idols), and there are a lot of clothes ripped scenes (so girls! Beware! Jaga pandangan. Hehe. )

And I watched until the end of the episode, which ended around 4 pm, and  I tought I had to hurry for today’s delivery (as I thought it was Monday, which is was actually Sunday. And there are no deliveries on Sunday as it a Public Holiday). So I hurried to go packaging and writing out cards (love and cards for my customers) and consignment notes. This, I had to ask my sister S for help. As I thought I was in a hurry (we usually go out at 5 or 6 for deliveries), and it was already 5. Then, after my sister done writing out the consignment notes, she told me ‘Kakak, nak pos hari Isnin, kan?1’.  And I was like ‘Ye. Sebab tu kakak nak cepat.2’ .  ‘Akak~ Isnin tu esok la. Akak kelam kabut sangat kenapa? 3‘ And I was like ‘Ding dong. Ding Dong.’  in my head. Haha. How could I forget today was Sunday.

So this was the story where I forget today was Sunday. I experienced this a few times in my life, how about you?

The Forgetful me,
The Girl in A Hood

Today's story and lesson. :)

Bismillah.

Today I learnt a lot of things.

I learn about life, emotions.

Seems deep, right?

Today, I actually went to ice skate with my little brother (brother I and L) and my little sister S, one of my little brother (brother H) didn't go (I was kinda dissapointed, but he wasn't the outdoor type to begin with). (Fyi, I am the eldest child. So all are my 'little adiks' <3 ). It has been 2 months since my last semester (I'm on my semester break. Will be going back to university soon. Don't wanna go back. Huwaa. :( ), and I had been wanting (and itching *scratch-scratch) to go ice skate. Alhamdulillah, finaally after the long wait I finaally go to go ice skate for the 3rd time.

While ice-skating, I fell a few times (I'm no expert in this anyways. It's my 3rd time going. TT.TT That's why I kept falling. Haha. ) But despite falling, I manage to get up. [1st lesson learnt] Just the same as life. Even if we fall, we must get up. Cause that's life. And the best thing is how we manage to get up. Sometimes, I got up on my own. Sometimes, my siblings help me. And the same things goes to life. At times, we fall, there must be way to get up. Trust me. Surely. Maybe slowly, but surely. So never give up. Cause you don't know, when the best things in life are going to happen to you *winks*. Eventhough we fall for no reason, maybe unexpectedly, or even expectedly, only and truly believe that God has better plans for us (just like when I fall on the ice rink).

[2nd lesson learnt] The 2nd thing, I saw and learnt is that either you have a bad or good friend. Both will pull you towards it either intentionally or not (unless you are strong by yourself). And if you are really strong enough, you will be the one who's pulling. And if you really love your friend, or someone, maybe you can start toughen up, and be pulling them up with you. :) This is what I learnt when the 'adiks' hold my hand, and unintentionally pull me with them, (actually more like dragging), cause I'm kinda slow at skating (even walking), which made me getting pull (slide is more accurate) across the rink. And I'm glad they did that. Cause they pull (in life can mean guide) throughout the rink to the start back again.

And after that we (actually they pray), and we went on sight-seeing? Haha. In the mall (except brother I, he went on his own - which had troubled us later).

So these are (some, they are more, but I'm already too tired to write more) the things or lessons I learnt, today? What are yours? :)

See you next time!
The Girl in A Hood

Funny story : To use the locker at that place we had to buy a coin which costs us RM 2 per coin (and can only be used once). We bought 2 coins, in mind that we going to use twice (the other one is when we had our break and need to use again the locker after that). And so bad for us, we used up a coin because we accidently left our gloves, in our bag, in the locker (we had already wear our skates, and was up to go to the ice rink. <- Nmpk x excited sangat nak ice skate >< ). So we had to purchase another coin for RM 2. How money flies. *imagining money flying with wings* Total RM 6, for just a locker. *kaching!*
