Assalamualaikum, everyone! :)
Today, I'm gonna continue a little bit of my story from 26 Disember (
Here's the link if you want to read it! :) ) I actually have much more to talk about my life and life itself. But I keep forgetting what I want to write, when I want to write it. :(
So today's blog can be said the
[3rd lesson learnt] from that day. This is a sweet story, just so you know. :)
So as I was talking, on 26 Disember 2015, me and my 'adiks' went iceskating, And as I was iceskating and talking with my little sister. A little someone came up to me? Can you guess? Nah.. It's not a special someone (I believe that I will wait for that 'special someone', and only accept that person only if 'he' do it the respected way. Where he respect my wali. *ialwaysdreamtofit* #girlsdream ).
It was just a little kid that came up to me. (You can imagine a little cute Malay boy around 5 years old). And the best thing that he came up to me with like sorta a medium size (kinda like the size of a tennis ball I perhaps?) snow ball in his hands. As a little kid, the snow ball was kinda handful in his tiny hands. What made it so sweet is that he came up in front of me and nudge the snow ball towards me like he really want me to have it (In my age, when I was a kid, If I had a snowball, which was a thing, I really want. And if I got it I wouldn't want anyone to have it, except the one I love the most. Ish3. Nmpk tak kedekutnya disitu. Islam tak ajar ye. In Islam, we are taught to give the item that we love the most to someone else. In return, we know (and believe) that Allah will give something better than that. In Shaa Allah. It's only up to us to believe and have faith in Him).
So, as he really want to gave it to me, I whole-heartedly accepted it with joy and a smile. :) (I'm still smiling now. It's just so sweet. I cannot. ><) And, he (the kid) also left with a smile.
So here's the little lesson I learnt. In life, even the simplest kind of kindness and gift can make someone happy. Just like what Islam has taught us. Which is sedeqah. There is one story about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) where he had a (sebijik ape dalam English? Haha.) tamar. And as you know, if you ever fasted only just have a tamar to break your fast. I bet you would have it all by yourself. And guess what? Did Rasulullah, our beloved Prophet have it all by himself even if someone ask for it? Nope, he didn't. When, someone ask for some food, he gave half of the whole tamar. And when he was ask again, he halves it again leaving him a quarter. Which is not much. But guess what? Even, with a quarter of the tamar to break his fast. It was enough. And made him happy. (I really apologise. If this story was somewhat inaccurate. I just retold what I remember in my mind. Again, sorry. I'm just a creation, not the All- Mighty creator. Also, if you are surely kind, correct me my wrongs. Jazakillah khair. )(And yes, fasting is much more than 'menahan' hunger and thirst, You know it when you try it! :) )
So let's start today, do a simple act of kindness. Even it's not much. I'm sure it will spread happiness to the world.
A picture of me and the kid?
Sorry for the bad drawing. ;(
Happy me,
The Girl in A Hood
P/S: After the kid left, I gave it to my sister in hope that she would be happy. But she just smashed it to the ground (the ice rink). TT.TT
Second P/S: May Allah grant happiness and blessings for those who read. Again, Jazakillah khair for reading. <3
